I lived in Columbus, OH, during the Woody Hayes days of the 1970s. The "fight -win" attitude remains the same.

Marvin--"Script Ohio" is considered the greatest tradition of all college football (and I am not from Ohio). Every time I see it, I wish I WERE from Ohio.

If you ever get a chance you should go to a game and see them in person.

Don't know why it only really showed Djurgården and Skellefteå AIK for Swedish teams. None of the Stockholm clubs are in the SHL. SAIK is in the SHL, though and they're currently in 8th place. Frölunda HC (previously known as Frölunda Indians) also has great supporters and a great atmosphere at theri games. They even had Lillasyster (a hard rock band from Gothenburg) write one of their intro songs: Till Scandinavium.

They were spelling Ohio. It is called script, Ohio and they do that every time and it is so traditional Ohio State script. Ohio is and it’s the hardest thing to do. They are spelling Ohio.

Rare to see the 4 way so early in the show, usually it's saved for the big finale

I'm so glad you enjoy this. OSU has probably the best marching band in the United States. They are known for their razor sharp execution. What's cool about it is that OSU mixes military style precision with the very traditional with the drum major. That's the guy out front marching through the lines without collision. It's tradition that he does that one deep back bend at the beginning of the show. Watching the videos is great but seeing them do this live is really spectacular. The hours of practice they must spend to perform at such a high level of excellence must be insane. BTW, I didn't go for the sports, I only went to see the band. When they were done we left. Beat all that traffic.

That first song is Buckeye Battle Cry! Played that many times in High School... The second song is the French National Defile'... These were two songs from my high school's Pre Game show.

Visually it's great. However, the acoustics in the stadium are horrible so you can't really hear them playing.

A few of the stadiums are farther away from each other than I think you realize. Levi stadium and SoFi stadium are both in California yes, but 352 miles (566.5 km) apart.

@8:30 is a rivalry college basketball game between the Temple University Owls and the Saint Joseph's University Hawks. Both universities are in Philadelphia. The Temple fans are mocking the SJU tradition of chanting "I believe the hawk is alive" by chanting "I believe the hawk is dead" because Temple is winning.

THE Ohio State band was declared, The Best Darn Band In the Land, by a former president. The march Military style 8 steps to 5 yard to keep the line perfect as possible. There is a long history for this band, including the fact that up until the late 90's it was an all male band. This is percision marching. and Everything is based on hostory of that which had come before. There are exactly 2 steps between each member in the script OHIO. A senior Tuba player always dots the "I" and it is a great hornor to do so. They also always acknowlege the visitng team. Lots of respect, even for Michigan.
