The vfx at the beginning is excellent - for a moment it convinced me it was real! (tbf I was watching on my phone at 720p but even when I doubled the resolution I had to pay attention to the small things!)

So I get the PC fan aspect of it. PC fans just don't generate enough energy...BUT, what if you build your own circular object with multiple coils (I'm talking about 10+ thick coils, winding the coils yourself) using earth magnets, with magnets on the outside perimeter pushing constantly on the inner magnets? It would be expensive, but would it actually produce a decent amount of energy? I'm no scientist but I'm definitely tempted to try it. I just need a source to find the most powerful earth magnets available to the public. If anyone can direct me towards a place I can order them, I'll try it out....as long as it's not an obscene amount of $$$$

You should arrange the magnets in a hallbach array. Put a slit on the bottom of the half ball so you can make a wheel where a magnet can rotate trough the half balls.

Whenever you see a demonstration of a so called perpetual motian machine, if the demonstrator uses impulsive force to start the device spinning you can rest asured that the device will get slower and slower and then stop. The device should rotate without an impulsive enery input, at all position of the device.

What happens if you use a material that shields magnetism on the back side of the array so that you just get the effect of the ball being spit out the other side?

This video makes a lot of sense. What is always overlooked is the part of using magnetic shielding in the correct index points will make the motor turn. The question is how much power can actually be produced for the unit. v

The motor does not turn on it's own. But it does have less counter force impeding its forward progression. How can you use that to make cheaper electricity. Every time the magnet moves past the other magnet there is a movement of flux in both directions. Just put a pick up coil on the end of each magnet.

I was just thinking about this design the other day. we need local neighborhoods to build these and go off the grid.

The ball example makes very little sense. Seems to me if you had another ring of magnets using attractive polarity(or possibly just one) towards the center of the hub spaced differently from those on the exterior, that'd be enough to pull it into perpetual imbalance, adding additional magnets to the outter ring or asymetrically inverting the polarity on some could also likely create the perpetual imbalance. If the angles of the magnets of the inner wheel were increased so that the pull force of one would negate some of the push force of it's neighbor, that could also potentially create a perpetual imbalance. It seems bizarre that you suggest this is impossible because it does not have a perpetual imbalance, yet nothing here has been suggested or theorized on how to do that. A good start would be to try asymmetry in magnet counts, positions and polarities. Shifting weights (even liquid) could also be used to pull magnets beyond the balance point. I'd suggest also that this design of multiple wheels adds significant weight and redundancy.

You are deluding people with your video. This is in no way how magnetic fields work.

And why then would not a pulsed electro magnet be usefull here to remove the dip when it begins to affect the rooller and come back on once its past the point of the dip and add to that the rooller be a heavy flywheel that would add to the forward motion of the rooller. I think that if multiple methods are used in conjunction this would work to produce electricity and overunity could be possible

Thank you for saying watch until the end! I've wasted so much time stopping tutorials when I thought I had what I needed and struggling with making it work, then going back and learning that they address the exact issues I had a few seconds later.

I want to believe that if something that simple existed, it would have been created. But all these great examples are using a bunch of multiple magnets and the balance between them. If you're using only 2 magnets, and the push is strong enough what would happen? The system would balance at some point with the magnet on the rotor being on the opposite side of the static magnet ?
