The point of crocheting 3 on only one side is to have the side with the three extra stitches facing out when you look at the triceratops from the front. So, when you sew on the leg you will have the side with 3 extra stitches facing out and the shorter side facing in. On the other leg it already worked like that, so that’s why you don’t do the 3 extra stitches. Let me know if you have more questions!🧶😁

Yes! You would simple chain more for each tentacle, then when you do the edging just make sure to crochet a little on the tight side. Let me know if you have any more questions!
