Hmmm, I’m a Big Whitley fan but this doesn’t sound at all like Keith. It’s kind of like going deer hunting and bringing in a cow with DEER painted on its side then trying to pass it off as the Real McCoy. While there are some folks who may HEAR WHATEVER you tell them they’re hearing, I ain’t one of them. 🤷🏻‍♂️ My mind isn’t that simple, yet 😳

I'm a fan of Keith Whitley -- a BIG fan -- but it's just sad to me that people now feel at liberty to make forgery art with AI that puts words in an artist's mouth that were never sung, or recorded. Like the recent AI Randy Travis song, "Where That Came From"... the irony of a computer pretending to be Randy Travis... because the REAL Randy Travis, well, the truth is, there really "ain't no more where that came from," and we shouldn't pretend there is -- least of all from an AI program. The sound may be nice, the lyrics may move us, but there's no substitute for genuine art, and genuine artists. It's starting to get to the point you can hardly tell what's real from what's not, anymore, and that's a legitimate tragedy.

This is a good song and cover. They never disappoint. Hey, I started making AI covers last weekend after joining Jammable. I've created a whole bunch of them so far. The vast majority of them are of Keith Whitley. Others are Ed Sheeran, Freddie Mercury, Luther Vandross and others. I think they're great! I made that AI cover of Keith singing Suddenly by Billy Ocean, and it turned out great. I sent a link of it to my supervisor, and she liked it. Most of the AI covers I made by Keith are country songs I wish he'd lived to record. Other non-country covers I made by Keith Whitley are Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez, My Heart Will Go On by Mark Vincent, and Shape Of My Heart by Sting. Those also turned out great. I'm so glad I've made my longtime dream come true. That's my newest and greatest hobby.
