Affordable attractive motorcycle luggage #vikingbags
I bought this 2007 Triumph Scrambler with a SW Motech bag only to have it fall off one day on a ride. So I bought a Viking bag with a locking system and a much better look for the bike

Why I chose the Nemo over the Big Agnes
มุมมอง 6815 หลายเดือนก่อน
I love Big Agnes. They are a great company but I had to chose a next tent and in this case if bike pack tents, I chose the Nemo Dragonfly 2 over the Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL3. I bought both these tents with my own money. These are opinions for what is important to me, and it may not be what are Your priorities in camping. #bigagnes #nemodragonfly #nemoequipment #neo #bikepacking #bikepack #motoc...
Choosing which gear to pack for Moto Camping
มุมมอง 4135 หลายเดือนก่อน
I have a lot of gear and some of it very similar but packing for a backpack or motocamping trip is a matter of making choices. Here is my strategy- it is about size and not weight. Where you put the gear on your body is just more important. 10 pounds of gear that is poorly distributed is less comfortable and safe than 20 pounds packed correctly. We just don’t want to pack like the Beverly Hillb...
Should you buy expensive camping chairs?
มุมมอง 665 หลายเดือนก่อน
I have been camping most of my life, and Moto camping for a few years. I am a sucker for consumerism as much as anybody but gear is expensive and it can be hard to decide what you need and what you want. So I am looking at three types of chairs. A cheap camping stool, an affordable amazon ultralight stool called an iClimb, and the Big Agnes stool. I purchased all my gear and the opinions are my...
Track day on new Moto Guzzi V85TT
มุมมอง 5605 หลายเดือนก่อน
The first maintenance light came on during this ride.. I kept the revs under 5500rpms so the straight away speeds were not crazy. The Moto Guzzi was keeping the lines well and is so flickable for an adventure bike. It is pretty weightless. @PittRaceVids @kissellmotorsports2148 @MotoGuzziUSA #motoguzzi #v85tt #trackday #advancedriding

alcohol only in the trangia. meth or ethanol. that Primus stuff is their petroleum/kerosene based fuel - .ie highly flammable and designed for pressurised stoves like MSR dragon fly or Primus omnifuel.
I'm 57 and a former pro extreme sports athlete. YES I went through the same process...comfy boots with no protection in a fall. I ended up with the Gaerne Enduro boots. Love them...yes there was a learning process to the feeling, or lack of, to shift and brake etc...I also had to adjust both the levers a bit in the gear and brake. Once I rode the brake on the interstate and didnt' feel my boot riding the brake and ruinded the rotor and brake calipers and pads..so yeah I def learned to have a process in learning how to ride in boots..now it's like I can do it my sleep no worries. YOu have to protect your feet, ankles and lower legs.. #1 injury in ADV and moto riding. Ive spent last 25 yrs in healthcare and diagnostic imaging and the foot bones and knees are worth protecting. I had to to have comofortable boots for my moto camping in Baja also. I love my Gaerne Enduro Fastbacks
@@kee7678 do you think the Tech 7 is adequate or not enough?
Your experience is so valuable on this subject. Thanks for sharing your boot journey!
@@abe677 if it saves you money then I am happy
I'm 57 and ride mostly enduro. I use a full MX boots, currently in a Sidi Crossfire TA with Forma Predator 2.0 on deck for spring, but I have favorite "ADV boot" it is the Falco Adventour II, I posted a look at them on my other channel "PaiN's Rides". I wore Tech7's for a while, I never got seriously injured, but I'd had some very painful incidents in them and was never impressed with the protection or quality. The other thing with all "Tech" boots is they are sponges... the slightest spray of water and you'll feel it inside the boot.
what brand stool/chair you are sitting?
Wish I had seen this before going on a shopping spree, lots of good tips on choices, and I agree on the size factor.. thank you for sharing. On my Tiger 900 GT I really feel it in a bad way when i add weight to the top box, so thats for rainsuit, gloves and light stuff. The heaviest and bulkiest part I carry is my luxurious tent, and it usually goes first in into a side case or on the pillion. Not well invested in ultralight, but modest sizes for most other gear. I just bought a waterproof duffel bag which I can mount onto the pillion with lockable straps and with that I can leave the side cases behind on less extensive trips. Happy rides!
@@KetilDuna thank you for sharing!!
I was about to say that looks like BeaverRun! lol
So you are saying... size matters...
@@obsessivehobbies5464 I am
lol.. it is the new materials of ultralight tents.. there was a noticeable difference in the feel of sturdiness in the nemo
I have seen lone rider but didn’t inspect the materials. I always dismissed the Lone Rider because of the size not the weight. The others who I know that have them really love them. Looking at the stats they seem to be of sturdy materials. Next trip I am sure I will be with someone who has one and I’ll email you
@@RollModel724 the smaller one isn't much bigger than the 2 person Big Agnes. The model with the silly garage is much larger haha
@@479_adv I really believe weight is rarely an issue compared to size and how you can pack it along the spine and sit weight on the waist. And the same is sort of true with packing the motorcycle. weight as low and close as possible
I have a Lonerider ADV tent (not the big one with a garage) Have you ever seen one of those? Can you compare the Nemo material to that material? I had a Tiger Wall UL2 and used it on the Colorado BDR at several campsites for a week. The floor material and mesh you're describing as cheap feeling was exactly what I experienced. I didn't rip it but it constantly felt like I was going to. It seems to have picked up dirt and scuff marks really easy. I was surprised at how tough it was, even though it felt like it was going to disintegrate if I looked at it too hard. My Tiger Wall UL2 looks to be about the same size and dimensions as the Dragonfly here. However, it was stolen out of our truck on our last night while we were in a hotel, so I am currently shopping for a replacement. In the meantime, I am using the Lonerider to see if 7 lbs and taking more space in my motorcycle panniers is worth it.
Thats a tent.
They let you keep your mirrors on? That's a first.
@@MJW59 this is an advanced riding course through total control they let on every bike and we have six sessions on track to work on advanced riding techniques like finding the line, trail braking, and body position. They are also the things you would use on a track day
@@RollModel724 kudos for taking that thing out there. They're beautiful bikes.
Yes.
Where did you get the buckles for the tree straps? That’s a brilliant idea!!!
Ive taken some of their dealership parking lot style courses, they mentioned the track day lessons, did you have to pay for these ones and do they set a "speed limit"?
These classes are free- the basic, intermediate, And advanced- for Pennsylvania residents. You just need the proper street gear, insurance and registration.
Speed limit is 85 mph for the first four sessions on the track. The point of the course is to master advanced riding for the street not become a racer. Nevertheless there are many who turn the end of the day into a track day for the last two rides.
@@RollModel724 85 is plenty fast for my ninja 400... pretty awesome Ill be signing up for sure.
Hey buddy great video! do u have any experiance in it after the video? like Rainy days or well how about condensation? did u try the tent mode? Also great review! would love an follow throuh update on it! maybe a tent review?
Yes I have. I kept it up for a month and slept in it a few nights a week in the rain and cold.. it did really well.
the guy lines are supposed to be attached at the corners... you have them attached to the loops for rolling the doors back. th-cam.com/video/ytvv9ig4lyY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MQicfIAnQnYGrOhR
I feel for you I had the same luck. I broke my oil pan on the Rocky section on a Yamaha Tennery 700. I was done for the day never got back to my camper till 7 o’clock at night.I’ll learn to pick my lines better next time!
Get your hand off the front brake. Rear brake only for slow speed maneuvering
thank you for the feedback.. At this speed.. I shim with both together to keep trajectory of weight
was it with DB killer or without?
it had the baffle .. no DB killer
Those cones are useful!
still sounds terrible

Never too late to start jumping at bike parks. I was over 60 when I went the first time and it sure was intimidating with all the young whipper-snappers doing tricks in the air.
Thanks for this, bro.
Perhaps try doing a video when you’re not eating, we don’t need to see the contents of your mouth or a close up of your snot!
Your idle sounds a little low, have you adjusted the idle screw valve?
Idle was 1300 rpm.. what it is supposed to
my tag was installed on backwards, wankers.

Le hubiese hecho una limpieza de pasada.

That’s an expensive crash! Did Enduro replace the mt500? It shouldn’t rip that easily? I’m thinking of getting one...
They did not. For £15 they will put on a patch but that was it. The Humvee breathes less bit is much more sturdy
Thanks for the review ! Glad you were ok :)
Wowww great brother ..love from India ❤️
good one friend. i own a Himalayan too and have it modded out extensively.
Can I ask if you have checked the fuelling mixture (air/fuel ratio) since you fitted this exhaust? Previous experience has shown me that this changes (runs lean) when you switch exhaust system and I wondered if the Himalayan shows any difference?
I agree with you that the air/fuel ratio has to be changed. I did the same thing on my honda Deauville. The honda seller told me that injection system will adjust automaticaly the ratio. You only need to stay on low range for 10 or 15minits and it is ajusted. Same if you change air filter for a K N or same.
It's fine... yes, it will be leanER.
@@francoisfave2127 That is not true the fuel injection will not adjust for exhaust or air cleaner changes.
Ah Kentford 👍🏼
wow... thanks for the review. this is probably one of the first. would love to see more. is it possible to attach the cambox under visor of baseball cap?
It would fit under a cap. I will say after weeks of use- I have been disappointed in this product .. battery life won’t get to 45 minute and 25 minutes of shooting time.
@@RollModel724 that's disapointing 😩

WoodmanMTB thank you. It is a little sore. I had already hurt it in July/August off roading on my motorcycle in Wales.. so I think it wouldn’t have been a problem if it wasn’t already healing
Is there any mileage drop?
I didn't notice a drop in mileage from the exhaust change.
Its just plug and play right? Or do we need to do some adjustments to fi?
Because mine do backfire a lot

@@Flesheater0099 you can buy from SpeedMonks in India :)
Looking good :)
The "alcohol" you were sold is a blend of petroleum spirits and not alcohol and is not suitable for use in your Trangia. Buy some alcohol for your stove and use the power fuel to light your barbecue. Your Trangia did not fail. All the best.
Give this trangia another try. No such thing as bad stoves. Only bad fuels.
Use denatured alcohol or yellow bottle heet. Not the red bottle. This is great for emergency lighting but got for cooking.
