The one thing you didn’t show/mention is that the grind setting knob has a spring loaded nub (above the adjustment shaft) that holds the setting. Makes the “click” as you turn the knob. This will fall out when you turn the machine on its side. It is a very small white part with a very small spring behind it. I have found the small white plunger and ended up having to use a spring from a mechanical pencil to actuate it. never could find the original spring on the floor.

Thanks for this video. We've used our Krups daily for over 10 years(and it was used when we got it!) This is the first failure ever
My gvx2 just turns on, grinds for 3 sec and turns off. Any idea what to look for, sensors are good and the button seems clicking? Thank you in advance
Hey I have the same exact problem with my Krups grinder. It works for 3 secs and it turns off. I press the button again and again to get enough coffee powder in the end, but sometimes it doesn't work at all. I wonder if it's the safety sensor problem. I already super cleaned it, considering it could be a piece of bean stuck somewhere, but still...it's not back to normal 😪.
@@marcelalk Still not fixed, at the moment I use hand grinder which grinds alot finer then krups. I will report when I fix. Regards, Kobatz

Where you have been spot welding you need to avoid the centre on - on the cells. It's very sensitive can be damaged and cam kill lifespan. That's why some nickel strips has a hold in the middle to avoid that.

its a different car, my plan was to sell the car, but after replacement i changed my mind

no it is not, but i have 205/55/16 tires at 2.2 bar so ithey are kind of baloons... before the instalation i was awaiting realy hard suspension, but after instalation i was extremely surprised about the driveability and comfort... i gues multilink on rear axle plays a role in comfort, but b6 has multilink too
@@dvatrudlery b6/b7 suspension is identical. Well, I do have 235/45/17 tires at 2.4 bar and the ride isn't that great either on stock shocks. But maybe 240.000 km and 12 years took their toll on the shocks and the new Ultra SR prove to be a great upgrade. :))
uff... for a daily car it would be too much for me (45 tires plus ultra sr), but i use it as a family car on not so good roads

Great vid, but ur cell set up is different to my confusing one that i brought with the motor ect,i don't suppose you know what cell set up they use at the factory?
