VLOG:DIY BABY CLOSET | Best Gift For New Parents

This is the furthest thing from a tutorial but I thought I’d switch up from my normal content. I wanted to gift a meaningful and handmade baby shower gift. I saw this idea on TikTok and wanted to try my hand at creating this custom baby box. Usually it’s a wooden crate box used but whatever you see fit to create the baby shower closet will work perfectly. My particular gift basket is for a girl...

Well you have a very pretty face.
Her natural hair is already so pretty
😍😍😍
Beautiful work ❤
Are you located in NYC
How long does it take to heat train natural hair? Also where in Houston are you located?
❤❤❤❤
Wow your hair is pretty 😍
Thank you for posting this video. You did an amazing job caring for her hair and it looks beautiful. I wanted to make an appointment with you myself. Except I’m tender headed and your combing looks painful (smile) Thank you again❤
Show the installation to give you a like😂
It came out great!
The music is louder than your voiceover.
I have this type of install right now 🥰 my stylist calls them ‘Hollywood Tracks’. They are honestly my fave type of install behind micro links, because it’s very versatile and I can wash/access/oil my scalp.
I’ve seen so many names for them. They’ve been around for so long but I haven’t seen many stylist do the style. Love this style so much!
❤thank you...I have tried everything to prevent frizz and reverting...the longest my press last is 3 days max
Omg, I feel that! Let’s see if this helps you.🤞🏿
Congratulations, to you on the opening of your salon. It will happen. Wishing you much success! Stay encouraged and enjoy the journey.
So sweet🫶🏿Thank youu!
Lol i no longer can maintain mine, im 42 and im done. my low cut era has been in full mode for 2 yrs now.
Sounds blissful. Im not quite there yet but the maintenance on a shortcut is serious too now
Love it where can I buy some?
I only provide for clients as of right now but if you send me a dm I will ship it to you.
This looks good but how would you braid the top if you were wanted it more full or a middle part?
You just keep adding braids in the u pattern until you get it full enough. You could also add more hair to the braid but of course your hair would need to be on the healthier side in order to get the best look with this technique
I never seen anyone braid with their fingers crunched up😮
Welcome to my channel😭
God Bless you Sis!! Praying that you get a Great Salon space very soon with a decent trustworthy landlord. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you sis!!! I appreciate youu🫶🏿
Is this a glued in quick weave or thread? Im only asking of the Situation .
It’s glued but sewed around the perimeter to keep it from slipping
@@CocoaDanielle ohhhhhh ok gotcha.. its cute..i love it!!!
Im wearing tape ins and it's so uncomfortable, how much realistically would someone charge for this both in and out of salon?
Really? I like tapes once they get old. I couldn’t tell you the cost because it depends how thin or thick your natural hair is. The amount of rows differ for everybody
@@CocoaDanielle I got thin hair it's growing back I think 2 or 3 is the max I'd be able to do
I would love to see more on how the tracks was applied
Ok I’ll make another video
Your message was confirmation
So what were the tips? Did I miss the tip?
❤
Lovely
Beautiful thick natural hair.
What’s the settings
Thank you so much for the video I’m gonna be doing sew ins for the first time tonight the video helped me out a lot
I’m glad I could help!
Can you please do a quick weave without the cap
pipe cleaners can be a charm
Hey hey 👋🏾! I pray that you find the PERFECT SPACE. It’s out there waiting for you.
Hey!! Thank you I’m so excited to finally share❤️
Hello! Place a bead inside of the balloon. Roll and trap it directly on top of the balloon opening. Tie off bead with 260 or small rubber band. This creates a secure point, similar to the opening of the balloon. These are your secure points. Blow up the balloon and tie off, as usual. Attach 260s, which will secure small balloons. I hope this helps. Your video, candidness, color selections, and style were all outstanding! Thanks For Sharing...
That’s genius! Thank you so much for that tip❤️🥰
I know I’m late late lol but let me make you a set of press ons!
You right on time actually!!
Why did you skip showing how you cross the braids together. Omgosh 🤬
😮 yr😅😮 guy 😅y y y😅😅 y y
Beautiful hair 😍💖💖
What was the name of the shampoo from target for scalp?
Nizoral. It’s comparable to what dermatologists prescribe to people with scalp issues
Hiding those ends
She does need a slight trim
I wash my hair with clarifying shampoo. I deep condition. I dry and apply heat serum. I wait until it is bone dry. I start to straighten. Before the straightener has even reached the ends it’s reverting. What am I doing wrong? Even at the hair salon my hairdresser couldn’t stop my hair from reverting. My hair is healthy and I have regular trims. What gives?
Hey! How do you wear your hair daily? A clarifying shampoo may not be needed for every shampoo and if overly done will strip your hair dry. Also you may need to introduce steam into your deep conditioner and often focusing on the ends and then shampooing with a very moisturizing shampoo. Steam changed the game for me. I cant feel your hair so it’s hard to say exactly what’s causing it but this could be your issue. I hope it helps🤍
@@CocoaDanielle thank you I appreciate your response. I’ll try steam and moisturising the ends more. Thank you!
❤
I think maybe 260 should have been tighter
This is exactly 💯 👏🏾 what im talking about. I want to do the same type of hair install at the end of this month but with afro kinky curly hair. Your video showed up at the right time 😊
Yesss yesss yess Let's take it back to where Afro textured hair was laid whether chemically or pressed. I've been both natural and relaxed 15yrs both require equal maintenance, proper techniques and care. I'm Currently relaxed armpit length just turned 40 with no interest in going back natural until im like 70+😂😂😂😂 Maybe 🎉 Please continue to cover relaxer services because social media has every one losing their minds
This was an assume tutorial
Thank you!
Can dis be done with short hair
For sure! You might need to use more than one bundle to blend
Can dis be done with short hair
May i ask what kinda of humidity frizz spray can i use any suggestions a spray thank you
Lately I’ve been using Amika anti humidity spray and I like it
Thank you for the tutorial her hair is so shiny , I have 4c hair what wattage of blow dryer is best to use and what type of leave in conditioner to use also what shampoo is good I tried to silk press my hair at home it didn’t come out to straight the ends of my hair was puffy I’m tired of having to pay all that money to get my hair done because I can’t do my own hair just what makes a good straight silk press? Again thank you.
That’s a good question. I’ll have to check. It all about tension when blow drying. When doing it yourself you may need to work in smaller sections. Also if your ends are puffy you may need a small trim or you can use a smoothing cream to help manage. It possible to get a good outcome at home. Good luck!!
I do my own silk press at home and I have a couple of things that I do that may help you. My sick press has lasted even through 2 weeks of hiking throughout Arizona. You may need to trim your ends, if they are damaged, that would prevent straightening. When I wash and condition my hair, I separate small sections and really rub downward, from root to tip, concentrating on the ends. My hair and scalp have a mind of their own so there are few shampoos that I have been able to use on my hair. I use Garnier Sleek and Shine Shampoo (the clear one) and Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner. I do not use a large amount of conditioner, and again, I rub to make sure to get my hair washed and rinsed well. It normally takes me an hour to an hour and a half to wash and condition my hair. After washing, I spray my hair with TRESemme Protecting Heat, followed by TRESemme keratin smooth heat protectant spray. Then I section my hair into four sections. One section at a time, making small parts,I blow dry my hair slowly, using one pass for each small section. Once all my hair is dry, I again spray the Protecting Heat spray on my hair and rub it through, from root to tip. I thin section my hair thinly and use my flat iron, one pass, to straighten further. My hair is fairly straight from the blow dry at that point. Once I’m done with the straightening part, I apply a small amount, less than the size of a dime, of TRESemme keratin smooth pro collection shine serum with marula oil. I cannot use a lot of oil on my hair because it makes my hair limp and hard and my scalp gets sore. I am a 59 year old and this is my natural hair. It takes me approximately four hours to complete my hair regimen. But at the end of the process, my hair looks like the video and is so soft and silky. I’m not sure if I’m able to post a picture or I would, to show my hair. The length is about mid back and not super thick. I apologize for the lengthy post, but I hope I can help someone else who wants to care for their hair at home. I loved this video and watching it made me wish I could visit this salon. Except for the part where she combed the hair out after washing, I am super tender headed. I was almost in tears watching that part of the video 🙂
