That granny smell maybe the combo of oud and woods, it seems to be common in those types of fragrances. The new Wood and Mood absolute is strong for sure

Definitely not similar to my nose and it is very high quality. Tobacco Sapphire is certainly worth a purchase for the collection if you love tobacco fragrances!

Yes sir! They are building something special, this year reminded me of 2005 before they broke out with all the young stars they had playing. Our freshman 18-19 years old were dominating grown men at the end of the year. We have freshman and Sophomores with more valuable playing experience than a lot of seniors

I love Violet Sapphire! Leans slightly feminine at first then dry's down more masculine. A top tier fruity oud that just does not quit performing and developing. Different from King blue but still an amazing fruity oud!

@ LOL King Blue is one of the my faves n my entire collection still! I found a great deal here locally on VS. I have bought 8 BTV in the last month! They have incredible craftsmanship and BTV has their hooks firmly locked in my pocket right now🥲😂

The background I use in the majority of my videos exceeds the generic, led light pink/purple background with fragrances unboxed on the shelf behind the presenter that 90% of large fragrance reviewers seem to use. I'm fortunate to not be constantly confined to the same room as my home has plenty of room so I utilize different areas! If I have to dress up for work and happen to do a video, then I have a collard shirt on, otherwise I am dressing how I would just normally dress.

But all in all what matters most is you know what you are talking about. Does presentation matter yes to a degree just as we do in business. You would not expect a banker or attorney to be in overall or cut up jeans and sneakers. But this what you do is a bit different. There is not one way or subscribed script or version of it. Not all, I am actually glad you noticed! The whole goal of this channel was to review fragrances not many people cover and doing it in a way nobody else is doing. All reviews are unedited and unscripted, no companies have given me links to make money from or tons free bottles to review so all opinions are truly my own.

I've ordered hundreds of fragrances from reputable sellers on eBay over the years and only received 3 fakes. The recent purchase, I was in a hurry and would easily have caught it had I taken the time to zoom in on the pictures, so that is on me. I have no issues with getting fakes as there are two layers of buyer protection on eBay so you always get your money back. Jomashop is one of the best to use but eBay will have a lot of discontinued fragrances which is what I was looking for at the time.

@@universalfragrance Cool, a co worker of mine explain the same thing with Ebay. I just am so reluctant with it. How many pick up or new additions did you have for 2024?

Oh man, I would have to count but at least 20 fragrances or more. eBay is mainly good for fragrances that are no longer made or very rare from other parts of the world that may not distribute to certain areas.

I have tried Megamare, but Aqua Sapphire is a different kind of scent even though it is in the same category, so it's not really redundant. Longevity, quality and projection all exceed Megamare by a large amount IMO. Aqua Sapphire is nearly double the oil concentration

I would say bluer, but the seaweed does add some green.

Yes sir, beast mode! It is hilarious to hear people talk about Jubilation 40 " it only lasts 30 minutes to an hour on skin". Okay buddy, you either got a fake or your nose is completely broken so you need to make an appointment with an ENT specialist. Same with the new beach hut man and other Amouage fragrances in the newer boxes. People think because they change packaging to avoid counterfeit issues the formula has changed, which is not always true. The new/old Beach Hut man has always been 30% oil concentration and even my new packaging version lasts so long it actually can interfere with my fragrance choice the next day because it lasts sooo long 😂

Im so glad you ve mentioned it ..the drydown is amazing..starts off bit fresh but then drydown.. deep..omg...Im getting that 1 asap..that could be great for office..very non offensive, but rich..I tried it in Saks Ave and loved it

Dubai Citrine is a really special fragrance for sure. The red berry, seaweed and fir balsam give it a very unique 'blue/green" character without going fully into that category. Combining that with the floras and masculine base notes that last, it is an all-time classic IMO. Warm weather, date night or like you stated meeting or office wear! Musk, costus, oakmoss and vetiver really make this a long-lasting fresh type of scent.

@@universalfragrance amazing point.. blue/ green .. I do feel it’s a special occasion scent.. you perfectly described it.. I liked some scents in past so much I literally only wore it to special occasions.. like going to Italy country side or Paris to visit Eiffel Tower .. to accompany a special occasion with a perfect scent.. and scents then brought me back those memories.. this might be one of em.. just smelled very special to me,instantly

That is awesome to hear. IMO new Haarlem and Riverside drive are Maurice Roucel’s best work to date. Women really seem to go crazy for Riverside Drive 100% it’s a powerful but still somewhat light fragrance that always changes ❤

In terms of new releases..... definitely Argos and Unique'e Luxury with what they put out. Boadicea, Roja, Bond no.9 and Amouage are what I bought the most of this year by far so it's tough to say

@@TheRealMu-man It really is!! Almas also gets a lot of compliments. Rose and oud but much different and more modern than something like Dasman and Roja Aoud, even though they are all superb!

Nobody knows 100% for sure unless you work for Amouage or are the original perfumer, as stated in the video there is zero difference between my older samples and the newer packaging 👍🏽

It really is incredible. Plays in the same field as Creed Royal Oud to me but with different and better ingredients! I'm definitely getting dress up and date night vibes with Amber Sapphire on my first impressions

Glad to see women love it as well! Women seem to really love it on my skin and I imagine Knight of Love would smell much different due to skin chemistry

The real one lasts a long time, but 4 days is wild unless on clothing (that's common). I will say I don't get any menthol with mine personally

Just here to help 😂!! Let me know what you think of it, excited to see how you enjoy it. For me the fragrance needed to dry down for about 15 minutes on skin even though it still smelled really good out of the bottle and first spray.

@@universalfragrance I just rewatched EVERY video you made on Bond.No.9..it was a lot, I put you on 15.5x speed to watch it all..very entertaining on that speed 🙂..your taste is consistent but you do change your favourites from time to time, as we all do. BTW received my Dubai Gold last nite..divine scent..after 20 yrs sniffing on these scents from every corner of globe its harder and harder to be impressed..but Im really impressed with Gold !!! amazing profile scent. just beautiful..Im onto to a next one. I see you love Bond Signature as well. Can I ask- would the purchase be redundant to Alexandria 2 ?? Lots of same exact ingrediencies. Wow, that is a lot of videos. I will be organizing them into different play lists soon. Glad you are enjoying it!! I love the way Dubai Gold lasts and develops. Signature scent is actually VERY different from Alexandria 2. It is complexity through simplicity, the rose really is only there to balance the heavy musk, tonka and oud. Also, Bond no.9 Signature seems to have a slight, yet very high-quality teak wood note they do not list for added richness. You will find the musk note at the base of Signature scent very similar to Dubai gold which I love because they are different scents, but it is one similarity you can pick out as they are both musk heavy!

I love Royal Oud but did seek out an older batch that I remember being particularly good before they changed bottle sizes. It is A4315U01

Oh I picked up Royal Oud just this year and it is absolutely Certified! I can say it is top 5 Oud out there for men. Worth the money but I was fortunate to have a hookup and paid considerably less than retail but it was a tester with no cap and no box

Just received Tobacco Sapphire and Knight of Love from Boadicea... Got it 2 days sooner than expected too... Testing each fragrance on each hand and yo.... These 2 are absolute bangers... Great additions to my Boadicea collection... My next addition, I'm looking at Hanuman, Almas, Azrak, Oud Sapphire
