I can't wait to see you in Totnes ❤
Hello from across the pond in Tennessee! Congrads on the album release. I wish you coukd visit here for some gigs. John's genius didnt get much recognition here sadly. I learned about him through the BBC Scotland program headed by the Nashville dobro player Jerry Douglas. God bless!
Great rendition of the opening track of Sunday's Child (1975), my favourite John Martyn album, which has never ceased to amaze, delight and deeply move me (for almost half a century).
Britain’s got talent!!
Thanks so much! You have really captured the heart and soul here. I have followed John Martyn for 40 years and would say you have nailed it.
It was a wonderful night at the Round Chapel in Hackney this week, so good to hear John's songs played with such attention and skill but with your own interpretations showing the strength of the underlying material. Best wishes for the tour and hope to catch up with you again soon.
yes from me
A noble endeavour
John woud be very proud of you Great job
John Martyn with 3-part harmonies, nice!
I hope to see them at the Engine Shed in Stroud on the 20th September.
Just was looking forgetful one! No Sam? ))) Great performance ❤🎉. Groovy one!!! Feel like dancing straight away.
fantastic job, guys! 👏
Soooo beautiful . Vocal much alike Martyn. Love the song and the performance. Thank you for the joy.❤❤❤😊
A beautiful song and a beautiful version. 💜
I love your aproche to Johns music! Greetings from Cologne
Awesome - I enjoyed this as much as the original (maybe a bit more actually!)
I was skeptical. Now I am a fan
“To believe in God is to know that all the rules will be fair, and that there will be wonderful surprises.” - Ugo Betti
If y’all toured playing johns songs i’d be there
This is not a tribute band in the sense that phrase is usually used, nor indeed a covers band.
Beautiful!
The big man would have been so proud of this rendition (and danny thompson too ) :)
FOOKIN SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
Beautiful! I love how you're keeping John's music alive. And how you're doing that by painting a realistic picture of who he was; both a genius and a devil. RIP John.
These are very very good interpretations versions of all of Johns songs
I RENEW MY THANKS TO THIS TRIBUTE BAND 😊
I'm sure Mr Martyn is smiling down at you for this! Lovely👍
One of the most beautiful representations of J on TH-cam ❤
Lost for words. Diolch yn Fawr
Beautiful cover, the lead superbly captures JM's vocal style. 👍
These kids are fabulous, saw them last year in Sunderland. They blew the audience away. Highly recommended.
sooooo goood :). !!
Hi what tuning are you using then as I think johns in DADDAD or BF#BDAD ? Thanks
Superb version - love the harmonics!
Fantastic version
awesome
you get it. Lol play on.x
Absolutely amazing, saw them at Warwick Arts Centre a couple of weeks ago, can't wait until they are in the area again.
That was lovely, thank you. I don't really know John Martyn well, but I just heard my friend singing this song in this video th-cam.com/video/Eln4ld7uRHo/w-d-xo.html and so seeked it out.
Just wanted to say that i was fortunate enough to see your live show at Lyme Regis and i thought it was wonderful. Collectively you put on a fabulous live performance. The quality and the interpretation of John's songs were excellent and this video is a great example of your work. Thanks again and i hope to see you again in the future and also to check out your work as individual artists too.
Very happy to see these Bristol based musicians do such fantastic job with these JM compositions. Saw them last week in a sell out concert at St. George’s Hall Bristol …Outstanding concert. Truly Outstanding….
Saw you guys at Warwick last Saturday and was absolutely blown away by the beautiful music and vocals that you treated us to. It was a very intimate setting and everyone there showed their appreciation to an amazingly talented group of musicians. Hope you grow from strength to strength x
Well people!! Just Wow!!!.. ...
Brilliant!
You are a fair stretch more than a tribute band. Fucking superb musicianship and very sympathetic to what you're playing. Love a chance to see you live in Ireland!
You coming to Ireland? John lived in Thomastown, Kilkenny and has a lot of fans, friends here. You may be aware of this already. I could put you in touch with one f his friends and maybe sort a gig or two out?
Really, really killer stuff. Thank you so much!
Just wonderful. Well done guys.
Great job, guys! Very soulful, which is what JM always was.
