Hahahaha ... he's the Jim Carrey of music. Malkmus for King. Love how he sprinkled some nutcase-dust on the guitar solo. Genius visits.

He is clearly aging, but that immortal youthfulness and energy is on full display here, especially obvious since he isn't behind a guitar. In fact this might the first time I've seen him perform with just a microphone. He always struck me as someone who has it all figured out. Lots of young people are like that but he still carries the torch.

This was so great, one of the highlights of the week. After the show, we walked back to our rooms right behind Malkmus and his bass player and he was talking about looking forward to playing tennis the next morning, haha!

I remember seeing the Jicks in San Francisco when Pig Lib came out. At one point he pulled out an acoustic guitar and said something to the effect “well Wilco is really popular right now so figure I’ll give it a try”

His late show the first night of the festival was amazing

I was working at a record store in the mid 90s and we got an advanced copy of A.M. which I played a lot, having been an Uncle Tupelo fan. One day a guy came in and asked me if it was Pavement. I said “nope, Wilco”. He said “Never heard of them, they sound like Pavement.”

I hate Spoon. No disrespect to Spoon fans just my opinion. Is that the Spoon guy singing? If so ,not good. But whoever's playing lead either on keys or keyboard efx pedal that is awesome. I guess I'm just not into the vocals & if i don't like the vox then that's it for me. Oh well, such is life. My opinion isn't costing them a dime but a FANTASTIC opening act is going on tour w SPOON, now or as soon as the tour starts... GEESE, They arw goin to blow Spoon off the stage . GEESE has blown up seconds after the 1st person heard them! Spoon are great at picking their supporting acts.
