Try playing against byrdo that stays on the back all the time. Just impossible...

I'm so confused, it almost looks like mario is hitting back some slow returns, whereas when I play against any character on Intense (not even MAX) I can't get a baseline rally going no matter what I do, no matter how deep I put the ball in the court they're able to return straight to the corners and are constantly passing me with their shots (basically whatever input I put in the controller the AI reads it and hits an unreturnable serve in whatever part of the court I'm not in). How does this look like this Mario is easier and how do you get to this level??

I have just beaten yoshi on gravel on max with mario. In my opinion the hardest match up. Took a half year to get to this point. I love this game so much.

MAX difficulty should also be known as the "Expert Plus" difficulty. It just all seems that the AI could barely even beat the pros.

Sorry, but no respect for this unless you add the star for your opponent. This can be done by holding R while selecting your opponent. I played Mario twice under max difficulty, 1 set 6 games. Without the star selected, I beat Mario 6-1. With the star, I got pounded 6-0, won 5 points the entire set.

I still have my memory card so all I gotta do is get a copy of this + a gamecube and a controller lol. I had tons of cool shit. I had all the games except Zelda and Mario (and I think Punchout) but only because I could never figure out how to get them.
