DC is my favorite due to my cosmetic preference, but playability they are totally equal. Aries being a bolt on is a little more affordable due to construction so I would say the Aries has the best value for sure. Can't go wrong with either though! I have thinner neck profile on all my builds. Cheers!

Aries or A2 for bolt on and DC for neck through. Both are super versatile and work for pretty much everything. I'm digging the Kiesel thorium for bridge pickup, for neck pickup I'm digging lithium or empyrean. Can't go wrong with any of those! Cheers and thanks for watching! I always get thinner neck profile and 20" fretboard radius with jumbo frets. That has a lot to do with playability too

@@hanzo90 Yeah DC is probably my favorite shape :). I have a couple with alder, one with mahogany, and one with swamp ash. They are all good. For a first build I would say go with alder as it isn't an upcharge and sounds great!
