Hurricane Milton - (4K @ 24fps) - I4 Corridor Of Central Florida - October 7th-12th, 2024
In this video we see a look both the landfall and the preceding thunderstorms of Hurricane Milton before its chaotic landfall in Florida. This is to show how the immense size of a major hurricane can cause such severe and devastating weather events before its landfall. In South Florida, Milton was responsible for 45 tornadoes from West Palm Beach to Fort Myers.
These videos were shot in the cities of
Orlando and Daytona Beach, at this stage,
Hurricane Milton was only a Category 1 Hurricane.
As mentioned in the video, Hurricane Milton was a Category 5 Hurricane at peak intensity, but at this intensity it had sustained winds of 180 miles per hour and an atmospheric pressure of 897 millibars which is actually even stronger than what is shown at the beginning of this video of Milton having recorded winds of 165 miles per hour.
At the time of this video being uploaded, Milton has caused at least $30 billion in damage, and 28 deaths in the state of Florida.
Relief Efforts have been set up throughout the state of Florida to help those who have been affected by this once in a life time hurricane.

I've never played ice hockey, but it seems like it took way too long for the goalie face protection designers to realize that the bar style face shield is much better than the Jason/medieval armor style. Better protection, vision, ventilation and just overall comfort for the goalie.
The earlier “classic” style masks were made to be very close fitting so there would be no interference with vision…the goalies looked straight out the eyeholes rather than through a mask. Lack of vision (especially peripheral) was one of the main reasons it took goalies so long to adopt masks (LONG after they had become standard for baseball catchers)
