This tool is great for putting lights on cars for night time scenes and also emergency service sirens. My cop cars in Cyberpunk looks pretty decent now. I do find it kinda finicky but it's cool it can be done. I wish I could save all the attached items as one actor though.

Perfect Video. Was able to duplicate and rename my test world for Starfinder 2e Playtest. Now my players don't have to re-enter all of their character's information.

Hey man, I'm just undertaking this myself, and I find the official tutorials pretty confusing. They require a bit too much prior knowledge in my opinion. Anyway, how do you find all of this impacts your server performance?

hey I'm a player in our foundry game and I would like to upload an image of my character from my computer files to my avatar, am I able to do that?

What about after login to app? We take backup of everything? Created world, systems and all modules?

From what I can tell I need to do a fresh install of foundry. When updating onto of 10 to 11 it can run into issues with some things working. So with doing a fresh install can I do a new fresh install at a new folder location and move over my assets folder and my world folder on the new install and it just work or do I need to reset up all links to files n so forth ?

can i use the backup of linux in windows ? (a friend do the world in a steamdeck, with linux, and we want to transfer the world to a pc with windows)

This is a bit older than i usually comment but I would use this mostly on shops that don't have a lore reason or any story to them at the moment, maybe with some voice lines on the shop keeper but that would be the most i would do with this. Just a way for my players to buy some stuff without me reading the list as the other part of the party for example are talking with a story npc that will tell them what is going on in city X

as a player, how can i upload a picture for my character portrait. I did it for my last Actor, but they died and my back up is now stuck with the default because "access unauthorized", it won't let me upload a pic the same way i did before. does my DM have to enable a new setting for me?

Hi, thanks for posting this tutorial. I've been wondering how to back up the data before an update, especially now that version 11 is available. Unfortunately, I am encountering a problem. I have Foundry pinned to my taskbar, but when I right click on it, all I see are two options: Foundry Virtual Tabletop (which opens it), and Unpin From Taskbar. How would I be able to make the two Browse options available, like you have when you right click the Foundry icon in your taskbar. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Excellent video! So, as far as client computers go, besides activating hardware acceleration on their browser, how can I boost the performance on their end? I have a beefy PC, but my player dont... is there anyway for my pc to do all the heavy lifting? Does it even work that way?

Foundry hat das verändert, es gibt kein "name" mehr sondern "ID" wird es jetzt genannt, das muss mit dem Ordner Namen nun übereinstimmen. Foundry has changed this, there is no "name" anymore but "ID" it is called now, this must match with the folder name now.

That's an interesting macro. Just a few comments that can be helpful. If you press the "C" key, It'll show your character sheet. Maybe the GM keeps having the problem but players can use this shortcut. The GM can use the module Let Me Roll That For Your. This module allows the GM to request rolls from the players. They only would have to click on the pop-up and go. The module Drag Anything to Hotbar allow the players to drag and drop anything to the hot bar (feats, items to make attacks, spells...). I think this is now implemented in Foundry V10, but if not, this module could be useful.
