      That’s because the voice is superficial from the top layers of your vocal compartment that can sound nasal … you need to find better projection/throw that has depth and usually comes from the diaphragm. Have you watched that particular video on my channel yet? I’d highly recommend it! 🙌

      Thank you for sharing your opinion…and the compliment :) However, it’s hard to sustain a ‘chest voice’ for long…especially in a profession like mine where I’ve got to talk for hours! That’s why voice projection helps in public speaking. It sounds more purposeful too than the tough vibrations without the use of diaphragm :)

    • @SUPAbilitybySupreetBedi
      @SUPAbilitybySupreetBedi 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Paras, this is a peculiar issue that isn’t necessarily related to communication skills but perhaps more the speech effort. You may simply be hurt unknowingly in that area, have inflammation or infection, cold sores or putting unnecessary pressure when talking. Worth seeing a doctor to rule out the infection part and then a speech therapist who can address the issue. Don’t take it lightly though, best to act upon it sooner than later. Good luck with it. Let me know what guidance or diagnosis you receive. Take care!

    • @SUPAbilitybySupreetBedi
      @SUPAbilitybySupreetBedi 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Sajjad! Thanks for your time on this channel, I’m glad the video helped :) Multitasking is a skill unfortunately not suited to all. For some it’s a talent, for some it’s acquired over time with practice and for some it doesn’t work as it brings added stress. That’s why to keep mental pressure at bay, the psychologists advise to not go down that path. You know yourself best so don’t push it if you feel it’s not for you. I’ve always been multitasking and it works great for me and I know it can be done systematically if one is organised enough and can list priorities on a daily basis. Having a to do list each day helps and ticking it off is satisfaction at its best! I always prioritise tasks, can something wait a few days or must be done today? That takes pressure off if I know I can break the tasks. Doing things much before the deadline keeps the pressure off so rather than leaving it last minute, try and work at it months/weeks in advance. This gives time for any contingencies. I hope this helps?! Let me know if this answers your question and if you feel multitasking is your cup of tea? :)

      Arun, I can’t begin to tell you the joy I feel reading such honest impressions. That’s exactly what I set out to do through this channel, my recently published book and even the Tedx talk - to simplify it all! I’m clearly not reinventing the wheel, just stating what I know works given my experience of over 17 years in the speaking industry! Glad to know it’s making sense! I haven’t cracked the TH-cam algorithm or marketing strategies for my book if I’m honest, therefore these tools don’t get the right due at times … really hoping more people can stumble upon it like you did and benefit from my nuggets of wisdom. Yes pls, get the book on Amazon - ‘Be Ready for the world’ and let me know what you thought of it- either here or on insta:) I’ve just started another handle on it a few days ago called SUPAbility by Supreet Bedi that focuses on all things communication…do follow that too if you can! Yes, I did read the preview on audible and ordered the book, will share my two cents after finishing. I felt your TH-cam videos are more conversational than the Tedx talk. It may be more of a personal preference. But, most importantly, you rock and you bring a unique background, new and different perspective from fashion show to presentations to C'Levels and executives in Corporate world. You write noticeably well Arun :) I’ve enjoyed reading your comments and interacting with you so thank you for taking out the time. Yes, agreed, the two styles of presentation are quite varied when it comes to TH-cam and Tedx. The first is more casual delivery imitating the anchoring world and the second, given its strict structure and timing, a more declamation style I’d say. Needless to say my heart and thoughts were fully invested in both the styles but one is pure resonance, whilst the other is aimed at quick learning. Keep connected and happy reading. 🙌
