Just another afternoon fun flight of my profile f22. Cheap to build and fun to fly. Build in an afternoon. Easy to repair, just a little hot glue!
First flights of my swappable foam Flite Test FT Spitfire, windy evening conditions
มุมมอง 5K11 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the first flight of a Spitfire foam plane built with free plans from Flightest dot com. I have not flown in a year and built this and it is a lot of fun and handles great even though I am very rusty. I had a lot of fun building and flying this plane. It rolls GREAT. It was very windy and still fun. If you enjoyed the video, please click Like. Thanks Here is the link to the build video d...
Hand launching my HobbyKing AXN

Hand launching the AXN in the evening wind. Great plane and this is the second hand launch and I have not flown in over a Year. Great plane to fly and the set up can be seen on XJET's channel here
HobbyKing AXN first flight
มุมมอง 67911 ปีที่แล้ว
I put this HobbyKing AXN together after watching Bruce on XJET here on TH-cam. The plane sat in the garage in the heat and warped for over 6 months. I launched it into the strong wind this evening and it flew straight out of my hand. Great plane and quick. See more of this plane on XJET's TH-cam Channel.

My First try at electric profile foam f22, first try at video
มุมมอง 44513 ปีที่แล้ว
profile foam f22, first try with new mini spy camera, camera shut off due to low charge, late evening blurry! Built from plans located on the web, it was very windy. This plane is a lot of fun to fly and in a stiff breeze will almost hang in one spot. I have it set up with tailerons only. rc.tomhe.net/

      @amtpdb1 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no engine on this it's a glider and pulled by a truck with a long cable. Thanks for the question

    So, where’s the gliding part?

    • @amtpdb1
      @amtpdb1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is gliding all the time as it is being pulled by a truck. If the cable breaks it will just glide to the ground.

      I'm still here! I left the club as they stopped doing any more flights as the person doing the flight training stopped training. This club was basically selling gyros.

      @@amtpdb1 It was too many people showing up just for the ride. We were promoting this type of aircraft to bring more people to build and fly this type of machine. Unfortunately, we get old and tired and we have to stop this activity because we don't get many newcomers for the Club. I'm still flying my Gyro at 76 years of age.

    Seems the rotor needs balancing. Is it still flyin in one piece?

    Great to see, used to do this in Queensland Australia and in Grafton NSW. The Glider is an excellent training tool used far too little, learning to fly this cheap little craft well saves many hours of two seat powered training, particularly in winding up rotors and avoiding hinging etc. We used to make them wind them up by hand though ;)

    What do you think of its characteristics. Is it twitchy ? I built their Slinger and it flys like sh*t. Most baffling plane I've ever tried to fly.

    I watched the video on flite test and this is where you get the free plans. I used 3 sheets of Dollar tree foam. The plane is easy to build and all you do is cut it out, hot glue it and fold the foam sheets. I think a beginner could do this with out any problem. Watch the swapable videos and have fun building and flying. Don

    pls let me know is this a beginner build. i have been surfing the web for a long time and i have a low budget. thanks. i realy want to build this. found electronices on lasertoys for cheap

  • @amtpdb1
    @amtpdb1 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I run full throttle most of the time and after 5 minutes I can bring it in and the battery (2200) is right at storage voltage. Thanks for watching. It is cheap to build and doesn't take but a day to put together. They give the plans away or you can buy the laser cut parts from Flight Test. Don

    @dzdexx7 There is a video on it here on utube. You end up making a folder with a file in it. Look it up here on utuge it is very clear. I was unable to do it until I watched the video.
