I remember in the 1980s my friends grandfather owned the gas station on the dock where the boats fill up as well as some small cottages where we stayed. Now the cottages are no longer there and it's just a parking lot. There used to have a small grocery store which is now a gift shop and was mostly a big boardwalk. They show the bridge of johns pass in the movie summer rental. It's really changed but such a nice area and place to visit. Also how old I am lol

I agree, $100 OBC is not sufficient to compensate for overbooking the cruise. We usually use the GTY option but will not in the future if this becomes more of an issue.

I prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.🫡🇺🇸❤

I may sound a bit harsh here, but I can’t stand emotional support animals, not with the way the whole emotional support thing is dealt with these days. There’s no real regulation, and with the way I’ve seen and heard of people handling their household animals during my lifetime, that means there’s not even a guarantee that the dog is properly house trained. (Making sure it pees on a pee pad by placing a pee pad down in the spot(s) where it likes to pee on the floor isn’t house training lol) They literally tell you in the ads here on TH-cam that it only takes moments to get your animal approved as an emotional support animal, and all that really accomplishes is to create scenes like what I witnessed a couple weeks or so ago at wal Mart where an emotional support pet completely disturbed the peace by yapping uncontrollably at and nearly attacking a service dog that walked quietly past, a situation that couldn’t have been good for either owner’s emotional state, or that of anyone else nearby that might possibly have emotional issues as well. You’re not gonna turn me into a fan of emotional support animals until emotional support becomes a service that actual service dogs can be trained for. As it stands now, it’s only a title that allows spoiled, emotionally stunted people to take their untrained, dirty lapdogs into facilities that don’t allow pets. Note that I am not talking about people who suffer from crippling anxiety here, as those are the people who would benefit from emotional support being a trainable service, but those people aren’t as likely to be inside Walmart and definitely not on a cruise.

Lifetime ban seems too much but, i bet the cruise line doesnt want to start a preceedent of allowing weed of any kind. Next thing you know the ship will reek like a skunks ass all the time. I know a lot of people enjoy the weed, But I gotta say the smell is repugnant. Gummies and cbd have little smell But they may figure one thing leads to another

If you need an emotional support animal, you shouldn't cruise, anyway. You have to climb the railings to go overboard, except for bad weather. CBD of any kind is not allowed on cruise ships, or planes! READ THE FINE PRINT! However, I feel a lifetime ban from Carnival is too much. Maybe this is their way of scaring other passengers from doing it.
