    I have the ARB case system, it works crappy in the cold, freezes up and must be stored indoors. I prefer cases because you can help other people without getting your vehicle close, I also have a German shedder that owns the back seat, mounting any compressor under the seat would kill the compressor, lots of crap gets under there and is hard to access on a good day. Case is 10x better regardless of cost for my use case but I’ll spend less EVERY single time I can. Done giving money to super rich, greedy aholes. I may think differently if they paid people fairly but they rarely if ever do so give me the cheaper Chinese options allday everyday and twice on Sunday. I’ll do my own research on durability and am right 99% of the time because I’m not dumb or lazy.

    Important tip inflating tires. If you want all 4 EXACTLY the same psi. You need to inflate each tire to the desired pressure, let the tire rest /equalize for 5 minutes, and inflate it to that same pressure again. You have to do that 4 times on each tire to my experience. So inflate the one at a time & work your way around the truck 4 times... Equals perfectly even pressure in all 4 every time. 👍👍

    I have 2023 mojave and I love it, but I'm not going to claim its better than a rubicon, they are made for different things and rubicon is just better on trails and crawling rocks.

  • @ScreenTalker
    @ScreenTalker หลายเดือนก่อน

    I was taught the CFM rating is intake and PSI is output of the compressor. And for an application like this, 5 CFM is plenty, you want 10 CFM to fill a large canister quickly or when constantly using the air in the canister.

    I wanted American Made so I got the Viair 400C VMS system and mounted it behind drivers side rear seat. I plumbed the Viair to a ~ 3 gallon seamless tank between the tcase and frame on the drivers side. (My JT is a diesel and I converted from the stock 18 gallon tank to a 25 gal fuel cell up in the spare well) What I do is when I know im airing up I hit the button on my sPod to activate the compressor while im still driving which fills the tank in ~ 3 minutes. From the tank I have a chuck at either end so I fill two rears from 6-9 psi depending on terrain up to 29 in 6/7 mins, then while the compressor is catching up on the air tank again im doing a quick vehicle check and then I get the two fronts up to 33 in 8-9 mins. Note: I am running 42/14.50R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. The speed of my setup is actually a little bit faster than all the 10.6 CFM clones but im ~ $850 into it

    Install a plug outside hidden in the grill you won't have to open the hood. You could possibly run the plug into the cab for the cleaner air if you really wanted.

    A buddy and I did Elephant Hill Oct 2022. We were nearing the squeeze when a guy came up from ahead by foot to tell us the trail was completely blocked by a stalled vehicle with no ETA for help. We were not just doing the loop. We were headed out to Horsehoof campsite. In hindsight, we would have been driving in darkness if we had waited for the help to clear the vehicle. We turned around and went the wrong way all the way around the loop to the junction with the Devil's Lane and Elephant Hill and continued on our way to Horsehoof. We did nearly 85% of Elephant Hill both ways which was interesting. Turning around and going the wrong way can be done in an emergency. This looked like an emergency.
