Dylan Lightfoot has teamed up with Filmhouse, a production company operating out of Port Elizabeth, to produce a 6 part web-series sponsored by O’Neill and Northweek Sunglasses. The series “J” is based on the small town of Jeffery’s Bay (J-Bay) in the Eastern Cape. This documentary is not your stereotypical crop of surf edits, as it aims to provide insight and perspectives from the eye of a local - Dylan Lightfoot. It explores the diverse and dynamic environment capturing the essence of Jeffreys Bay in all its glory.

Was it not called. Ferreira Town ? We surfed there in the late 60s and it was farmland with a few chickens running around 😂
I'm a Durban surfer for 35yrs plus , currently living in Johannesburg... I've only surfed J-bay three times , (every 10yrs ) and every time I had the same experience... the local surfers are the most relaxed and coolest guys , one can meet 🤙👍
@j clm I surf maybe 3-4 times a year now since I live inland , my perspective might have changed... I just enjoy being in the water with my friends 🤙🏻 P.s : maybe get a longboard? Sitting further out from the crowd, might give you a advantage in wave selection 😉

Koffie Jacobs is such a good guy! Years ago I turned up in J-bay skint, without a suitable wetsuit and he lent me one. And then when it got robbed, he said to forget about it...........Thanks Koffie!
