Replacing the ankle padding on 1985 Jordan 1 Chicago's
This 1985 Air Jordan 1 Chicago came in for a padding replacement. I got my foam from Joanne's fabrics. It's not same type of foam as the 1985 pair. It's similar to the recent retro's with this type of EVA foam. The foam that the 1985 pair's have is a type of closed cell urethane foam that is molded from liquid. (Idk if it's true but it sounds right)

I have a pair of 2009 Nike Yeezy Blinks that need a new midsole. The original polyurethane foam is starting to crumble from the inside out. I replaced the shoes with a new one. They needed a repaint to match the original color. Now they can be worn for another 10 years.

These are my shoes that he’s working on. I sourced a cheap pair of recently released roadstas from 2022/2023. At the time I didn’t know where to find roadsta reps, but if i did I would’ve gone with that as a donor.
