It’s a two way clip, one for *inside* the pocket, clipped to the outside, (keeps it in place and handy) the other for the brim of a cap. Although it might be too big for that use. But that’s what the clip is. Also, if you just say “high lumen”, we know you aren’t really a flashlight guy.

I prefer this way with normal chainsaws ad wrll if the job is small. Automatic oilers ooze out whatever you don't use to leave an annoying mess.

....the bigger picture is... These mini chain saws are a total scam. If you bought a curved bush craft style saw with a cutting edge of about 50cm you could have cut all the branches that you could cut with this mini chainsaw in the same time it takes to oil the chain. These mini chain saws are a scam. Anyone who thinks otherwise, I'm open to a debate.

I got a super cheap one from temu with 6" bar and two 5500mah batteries. I was doubtful because it wasn't actually brushless as claimed, so I negotiated a partial refund. It has surprised me and it manages to cut through 7" branches though it's not generally used on such thick wood. For general garden and hedge management it's really good for 25 bucks. It's much the same as the blue one you have there.

The Milwaukee hatchet product puts these to shame. Just get it and you will be happy. It is extremely powerful and has real automatic chain lubrication.

You could have mention tightening the chain is by turning the tension screw clockwise. Turning the screw anticlockwise to loosen the chain. Good video though. Thanks.

The problem with mine is the chain comes off as the screw is rubbish and moves about when in use.

The fact that your floor is so far away from the wall trim in some of those spots could indicate you have a foundation issue. Could be a crack or something in the foundation which is allowing critters in and causing the floor to sag. I've seen it in a lot of foundation exploration and repair videos.

I just got mine a few months ago. I've used it a few times a month since then. Never used a chain saw till I got this one. Still haven't oiled it yet. Just saw this today about oiling mini chain saws. Is it necessary to oil mini chain saws and if so, why?

Thanks for posting. The trick is to loosen the bolt before adjusting the tension screw. Adjust the tension screw. Then retighten the bolt.
