I agree man. You can't pursue any form of art for monetary gain, fame, etc. Trust me I have tried and it just doesn't work. You will become frustrated quickly. Well first thing would be dont worry about sampling man. Buy a rompler like nexus and a good and reliable software for synthesis depending on what ur going for like omnisphere or serum. U are going to be sampling very rarely making modern day trap music/ classic trap music like this. Start with Nexus and get a bunch of good drumkits off of reddit drumkits. Once u are ready to learn sound design and synthesis of some kind u can decide on the VST that best fits your sound.
