A critique, you should have left Mays' "No, But I'm Ready To Kick Some Ass" line in. I'm watching season 1 now, it's weird not seeing "Skye" being able to kick ass.
Can you explain what you mean by that?
@@Yamatsu7 Fitz plan was to get the shield team to get Kora. These scenes sort of play out similar the yoyo flashback. The chronicoms represent the robber
*NIIIIIICE! Never even thought about Ruby being Steve’s daughter; and it fits so well! Even Whitehall thinking the blood was Red Skull’s hence the details of the Skull shirt and the name Ruby are amazing!* 0:32 - *Also refers to Carl Creel, aka Absorbing man, who would have probably been HYDRA’s first attempt to achieve Whitehall’s vision of a super soldier who could acquire the density of lead (Which Carl could) but fell short to only being able to gain the properties of raw materials; but did not make him into a super soldier in the same way as Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes and others, so he would have been labeled as only a partial success (Carl, I believe, did say in season 5 that it was the same pod that Ruby enters to gain the Gravitonium powers that changed him into Absorbing Man)*
Yep carl went through first but he had control issues until they brainwashed which also wasn't perfect.
*Sweet! Love reaction compilations; and AoS has so many great reaction moments and great reactors to chose from!* *Hope there will be many more such compilations to come!* 👍 *Funny also that some reactors didn’t quite get that the gun Ward shot was a modified **-night night-** icer gun* 😂
*A Fitz-Simmons movie?... **_EMOTIONAL DAMMAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!_* 😭😂😭
1:13 - *Ward is SQUID-WARD!!!* 😂👍👍
The brain operation scene still freaks me out, and I can’t get past Season 5, but otherwise, an amazing show!
❤️🔥 One of the best development characters of TV. Marvel's Agents of SHIELD is a masterpiece.

That’s actually a really good take.
Kinda wish that Ward was the clairvoyant himself, would've made the twist hit a lot harder and made Ward look even more like a diabolical manipulator.
the chain was up because she pushed the button
@@DewiOkitan what are you talking about?
Glad to see that, Skye/Daisy going from not having what it take to shoot in season 1 to her shooting Blizzard in season two was in here; I did think it was missing from part 1 when that clip at Quinn's mansion played. 👍👍
I always liked the fact the future had changed as a result of a couple of different factors.
@@CasperFGhost Do we know which factors?
Are we sure that drawing is Daisy on the ground + Talbot in space and not just talbot cracking the earth?
@@David-bf2cg I am sure because that shot of daisy seems to be intentionally similar looking to the picture and the only time talbot is outside earth like that is when daisy shots him into space. Also if he did crack the earth like that why would be out in space like that. He would be closer to the ground because he can't breathe in space. The writers would definitely use the drawings to misdirect right?
@@ShieldVidsI mean in the picture she drew, he is standing on a piece of earth, he isn't in space. Also why would she say "somethings different" when this was an event she has already seen before.
@@David-bf2cg Robin has seen differences and part of the good future out of order (the Coulson and May photo for example ) Her saying something is different means this is the first time she saw the serum in the gloves. But that doesn't mean everything was new. She drew Talbot blasting into space.
@@ShieldVids Okey got you. Still don't know if I agree that last picture is Talbot blasting into space though.
@@David-bf2cg That's fine but if it isn't then I think it is one of the only pictures not explained. Like how could he be out in space otherwise.
As I said, its a travesty you got banned from r/shield. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Great video as always.
6:49 - *_Ooooohhh! That's a nice one! Never even suspected that could be linked to his decision to take himself out with Hive (The Quinn Jet was his suicide vest and Hive's murder vest!)_*
Exactly
Good work. Is the naming Daisy after Daisyies in the field around where Kora died a theory/assumption, or did I miss something?
@@David-bf2cg it is an a assumption but I think it is true. Daisy said to Kora that jiaying had her because she never got over Kora's death. Since she died in a field of daisies it just seems to make sense for that to be the origin of daisy name.
Ive never noticed this, are we sure its a real thing and intended, and not a production error?
@@David-bf2cg how else would Hive have gotten in the room? Daisy was next to the door out of the room.
@@ShieldVids Yeah I don't know, maybe your right. But why doesn't Daisy see him climb up right in front of her then?
@@David-bf2cg she turns to work on the computer behind her. We see it in the clip when she turns back.
1:39 what episode is this scene from?
Deleted scene from DVD season 2
What's funny is that in the comics Phil Coulson and Nick Fury Junior were recruited into Shield by Daisy Johnson and in the show it's was the opposite - she was recruited by him.
Nice!
She wasn’t ready to lead the team. She was so subjective, and always wanted her own thing, not what was best for the team. While she was a great leader for the Secret Warriors, she couldn’t have really led S.H.I.E.L.D.
It’s criminal such a great show like Agent Carter was axed.
2:04 It’s been confirmed by the writers that the assassin who shot Thompson was in fact Michael Carter.
*_Wow! Never even thought about how those two scenes "reverse mirror" each other. Nice catch!_*
Thanks!
Same honestly
OMG, I didn't realize that the Koenig sister was teased back in season 2!!!
Yep.
Love the attention to detail! Never noticed in the “robot” scene with billy and Sam that they past by the camera 4 times, implying that they are 4 Koenig brothers. Eric (providence, killed by Ward), Billy (playground base), Sam, and Thurston (comic, anti-shield).
Also, had to double check the wiki but Sam is the brother that ran Thera protocol (the helicarrier) with Coulson in season 2.
Jiaying lived for many centuries, she had witnessed a lot in that world.
Very true.
This Daisy and comic-book Daisy are very different. In the comics she became director of SHIELD at the age of 18, making her the youngest director in SHIELD history.
Terrible show. But 'Daisy' and 'Fitz', yum. Pity they made Daisy so unlikeable.
I love this show.
She’s a fantastic team leader, shown when she is put in charge of the Secret warriors and the season 6 space team. But shield is her family, and she will do anything to protect them. In season 1, she proved herself by finding Coulson after Raina kidnapped him. In season 2, she defies orders to search for her dad and is emotionally conflicted with her ties to her biological family and inhuman heritage and the people that proven for years that they are her family. After Lincoln dies and she returns to shield, Coulson confesses that he would have made her the new director. This would’ve had the same result as season 5, as Lincoln have just died and in s5 she is dead set on keeping Coulson alive (even if that means the world is destroyed). Even her leading the space team in season 6, she is looking for Fitz, while Mack runs shield on earth. Daisy is a field agent like May. Skilled in action and under stress, but not the right fit for the director.
That was after some growth.
Compare this with Season 6 when Daisy is trying to strong-arm Simmons into going home putting a pause on their search for Firz. You know that if it was Coulson they were looking for, she wouldn't quit if there was even the smallest chance to find him.
*_Ooooh! Nice catch! (Never thought of that line as foreshadowing him having "parts")_* 👍
*_... Nobody's perfect!_* 😉😂
Never thought about that, nice.
*_nice touch!_*
I find it super interesting to see the first season from Ward's point of view. In every episode, his aim is not to complete the mission, but rather to win the trust of the others. a very well written character and story arc.
Except if the Agents hadn't beaten Graviton, then the Earth is destroyed and Kasius takes control, which would actually be the Nexus event. A lot of the Divine Timeline can't happen if Earth is destroyed. Robin was essentially trying to help the TVA get things back on track, even if she didn't know it.
The funny thing is that if robin had not said anything than Shield could have saved Talbot from Hydra and thus all of death, including Coulson could have been prevented.
But then she and her people would die on detroyed earth to extinction years later
If the agents weren't taken to the future, they all would've been locked up and likely killed since Hale took command of the US military after Talbot was shot. SHIELD was defunded so most other agents would've been scattered to the winds (no backup to get Coulson and co out), and then AIDA's Framework vision of Hydra's fascist state would've been fully realized by Hale and Ruby. It already was going that way in Season 5B since Hale set up a relentless manhunt for SHIELD. That and they had no bases left, the Lighthouse was the last one since it was decommissioned and only Enoch and Robin knew about it. And let's say that Daisy and YoYo survived being captured because of their powers, it is very possible that Graviton would've been created anyway (either as Ruby, Daisy, or Talbot) since Hale had the infusion chamber. Then the Earth would still be destroyed, just under different circumstances. Taking the agents out of the picture for those six months gave them a second chance, and a base of operations when they returned. You could call it plot convenience, but it almost justifies taking them to the future.
One of the most tragic things is that the Framework proved there was someone out there who could have found Ward instead of Garret and shaped him into a good man. But in the real world, Garret found him. And the woman who could have made him a good man? Ward shot her in the head.
You should read my Agents of Shield fan fiction series crossover with Star Wars. It's called Agents of the Clone Wars. Book 1 is called The Clairvoyant Conspiracy Book 2 is called Mandalore the Inhuman Kingdom In these stories Ward was found by Victoria Hand first but Hand turned Ward into a psychotic killer so that he would be recruited by John Garrett and be chosen by him to spy on Coulson. Hand did this because she believed it was the only way Shield could defeat Hydra and save the world. Hand felt the Jedi who believed themselves to be keepers of the peace and not soldiers were too weak minded to help Shield defeat Hydra Agents within Shield. Once the Clone wars escalate beyond Hydra's schemes Ward has no purpose. He ultimately decided to make a genuine attempt to help Shield win the Clone Wars so that he could petition for Hand's release from Shield custody but Coulson and the team don't believe him. I won't say anymore because there's a fun plot twist for Ward in my story that's different from what happened in the real world on Agents of Shield and in the Framework on Agents of Shield. I would encourage you to read it if you enjoyed Ward's storyline on Agents of Shield.
The amount of people I saw say Fitz did NOTHING WRONG to Daisy when that episode came out was wild. Like, yeah, have sympathy for him but to say he was absolved of wrong doing was bullshit. Doesn't matter how "necessary" it was, he still fucking did it
The point is not that he didn't do anything wrong. He even says that he doesn't deserve forgiveness. The point is that it is necessary.
Good video, some of these i hadnt thought about.
I have a simpler explanation as to why they didn't call the Avengers: Season 1: Not a big enough threat Season 2: They had to stay hidden and the Avengers would've only made things public Season 3 onwards: They have powered people on the team. Daisy, Lincoln, Yo-Yo, Ghost Rider, Coulson with his robot hand to an extent. Why even bother calling the Avengers?
Asking "Why aren't the Avengers in Agents of SHIELD?" is like asking "Why didn't they take the Eagles to Mordor?" in Lord of the Rings. I don't get why people still do it.
It's an interesting theory, except we know Peggy wasn't alone when Howard and Maria were killed, because Steve was with her. How Hydra actually infiltrated SHIELD to the extent they did and kept it quiet is hard to understand, and honestly, I just wracked it up to a combination of a willingness to cause those 'accidents' when they had to, and the fact that it's a comic book story and logic only goes so far.
That was a alternate timeline. I don't think Steve was with her in the sacred timeline
@@ShieldVids Steve was with her in Endgame. How is that not main continuity? Or are you saying he went to an alternative timeline to be with her, then somehow came back to the main timeline in the (then) present?
@@jackwells8107 That is exactly what happened. If not then you are saying that cap allowed his friend bucky to stay tortured by hydra for years.
@@ShieldVids Or else Steve knew that he couldn't change history. I mean, the movie said that multiple, multiple times.
Unless he knew he got with peggy before then that is changing History.
