Palmetto Goodwill is a non-profit organization based out of Charleston, South Carolina.
Our mission is to help people achieve their full potential through the dignity and power of work. Donations to our community thrift stores keep reusable goods out of SC landfills and allow us to support people in overcoming barriers to employment through job training, education and credentialing programs.

I am currently an employee at Goodwill Industries in the Orlando, FL., area and we are working very hard to make sure that Goodwill's goals are met to ensure a better community. In these tough economic times I think it is very important that we work harder to make sure that the mission is being fulfilled so that the top managers can create more opportunities for individuals that are unemployed or who may have a disability. Kimberly's story is inspirational and I hope her dream comes true..
