Well probably because its not harvest moon from japan but harvest moon from a new company in america that stole the fame of the name 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bought the game on Steam and played it through the end so there are some things I gotta say about this - I enjoyed the game, liked graphics, character designs and controls are decent. - Difficulty seems unnecessarily punishing. I've played beat em up games my entire life so I've got a lot of practice and managed to beat it until the end, so I consider myself a veteran in this genre, but I'm aware not everyone has been able to do so, so I know it might be frustrating for many newcomers. - There are no replay values at all. No survival/horde mode, no bonus stages, challenges or special tasks, no unlockable characters or skins. Nothing. You just beat the game and that's it. There isn't ANY motivation to play it again, which kinda feels unfair considering I payed for this, and my time/money investment doesn't feel exploited properly. And game isn't cheap - On a personal side, I love modern developers bringing the genre back to life with a new and fresh take but people love substance too. Products with personality, and this game seems so focused on paying hommage to classics such as Final Fight or Streets of Rage that it lacks identity or personality, therefore making the genre repetitive as it was back in the day.

This entire soundtrack, from beginning to end, is one of the best set of tracks I've ever heard in a beat em up. It's Streets of Rage level stuff. Yes, it's THAT good!!!

Honestly this game looks incredible. Which is kinda odd since this is harvest moon and not SoS. I definitely want to get it once its on sale again. I mean you can tame ancient chickens. This can't be bad.

I remember seeing this exact trailer when it was a kickstarter years ago. Now the game is launching and the reveal is the same trailer; not a good sign.
