The p.y. 42 is the same as your transparent yellow oxide two rows up.

Interesting. I've used the Michael Harding one, but none of the others. It is pretty wonderful for skies or beaches, with a little cobalt or things like burnt sienna- I enjoy how it separates and spreads out and dabs away.

Underrated. I got them and they are great. Sadly, most people are sheeple and will blindly only buy what the bribed influencers tell them is good

I bought this set. A friend gave me her old Loew Cornell brush and I loved it, but the new King Art brushes don't feel the same. These are much stiffer. If you're just learning to paint, they are a great value. But if you're a more accomplished watercolorist, I wouldn't waste your money. Spend twice as much on three good brushes.

I’m be only tried QOR and Holbein’s. QOR’s PR122 is really fun to play with, but Holbein’s goes down smoothly.

Thank you for sharing the swatches. Some are very different to what I am accustomed to seeing and so many are very lovely but I wasn’t extremely impressed with the yellow ochre and that family. But there are others that are very impressive. Having a company that has both granulating and non granulating definitely helps artists to diversify. Thank you 😊

It's the first time I see this brand on TH-cam, I saw it on Jackson but hadn't found much information

How do you get these? It doesn't look like Jackson's has his watercolors anymore.

I believe this color is already discontinued by Mijello along with another brown pigment in their line. If there are still stock in your place, and you love this color, better stock on now. Hehe

The da Vinci one is mild on its own but shines when blended and mixed with other colors.

I think you're the only person to swatch this on YT! I just received it yesterday and mine goes VERY deep in masstone. I'm thrilled since it's more pigmented than their other phthalos.
