This game was my childhood, but you got the Dragon Rock map layout a little wrong. The leftover room is actually a P2 boss room left over from Dinosaur Planet, the beta to Star Fox Adventures. When Rare dumped the beta and reworked it into the final product the second boss room was cut due to the game end being extended. Originally Drakor was the final boss of the game so there were two rooms, one for phase 1 and the other for phase 2.

dude this was pushed to my recommended I pray you everyone even partially involved get the credit they deserve I don't think I've ever had a more incredible feeling of understanding this game I never even played past the first sections of the game of, I have vague memories but watching the complexity in this video man, its indescribable, hope everyone who sees this is blessed I watched this all the way on 2x speed and I almost regret it because if I was on normal speed I'd get to spend more time on the video. I played this game obsessively as a kid and NEVER beat it, pretty sure my control was messed up and got me soft locked at a button mash section of the game but I didn’t know things like that back then 😂 Still to this day the only starfox game I’ve played a one of the most influential games to my gaming experience growing up.

I have now finally finished the entire video and I have to say, this game has way more to it than I ever imagined, even as someone who has been the administrator of the Star Fox speedrunning community since like 2012. I am genuinely very impressed with the quality of the video and it was an interesting watch from beginning to end (even if split up in sessions). I do not believe you overdid the length of the video as it all felt explanatory and necessary for the full story, contradictory to what some other comments seem to think. This is an instant hall of fame video of the community in my book, and I very much appreciated the pannenkoek Easter egg at 2:37:47. Well done, great video, one of the best WR history videos I have seen!

Actually a great video just got done watching after a few days, really loved the video and all the extras you added, especially the animations showing the route in detail and which paths they took or which parts got cut off, starfox was one of my first games ever back as a child and i remember beating it together with a friend after months of playing on and off, so seeing how quickly the game can be beaten nowadays thanks to people like you and the speedrun community is insane some of these techs seem like witch craft snd probably are to some extent lol. But yeah thanks for this awesome video really hope this blows up.

I got this game because i played 64 so, so much. Was disappointed that there was barely any star ship segments. I kept at it though because i still loved the adventure game play. I managed to beat it and collect everything and now, while i haven't played it in years, i still do love it fondly. I had no idea this game was speed ran, so not only thank you for this video , but the many hours of enjoyment I am going to have in the future watching this game be ran.

So many people give this game unessacary hate, everything about this game was outside the box for Starfox, and even today it still holds up as an absolute classic, the story, the gameplay, the atmosphere, this game is easily in my top 5 and I don't think that will ever change, awesome video man
