Brian Huntress Tarot Deck: How the deck came to be
Dude. You're brilliant.
One day at work I was bored, made this zine base, then wrote the steps on the pages!
Love using this method because it's so accessible to most and has instant appeal, regardless of paper size. One thing I like to do with adults or students is have them -lightly- write: front, back cover and jot their page numbers after they've folded. Some will love diving in and creating in the book orientation, folded and run with it! Others like the layout for planning and want to work flat. Without the numbers they can spend a whole lot of effort but get frustrated when one panel is upside down or not in their intended position. Erase later once you're in the flow and they're good to go! (Don't let the tears flow- if you have upside down pages, remember art surgery is here for a reason, no biggie. Cut and paste to correct the page and adjust your copier until you erase those lines, or don't if they don't bother you ✌) Zine exchanging is really fun and kids have alot of ideas to share. One of my lessons was to teach each other something in steps using a one page zine- they were incredible ❤ (standard aligned, cross-curricular, generally dope- ticked all the boxes! And then they want to create more!) I miss teaching 😅
Great song ❤
Sounds good! Happy New Year 2025!
Who's Andrew Tate?
👍🙂👍
i knew that. thats exactly why i love him
This is such a good video, as I’m trying to find both friends and make a space for a town with a population of 100k people, but no dedicated music presence. I’m hoping to make 2025 a year where I’m less online, more in people’s faces and celebrating all forms of artistic creation. I’ve been traveling up and down the east coast to record punk and rock bands out of my own pocket, making consistent friends and unforgettable memories, and I’ve already had bloodshed. I want to shine a light in my town to bring a culture that never was attempted. Bless you and your day!
Abstract "art" is like shitting on the floor and calling it a masterpiece
Have you ever made a video/reel of how you record/put your music together?
i can’t find on apple music!! i love it tho wish i could add to playlist
i like the video, keep up the great work
"if I see something that makes me cringe, I don't look away, I look twice" ❤🔥
your songs always get stuck in my head
Wow.... A lot to unpack.... I just want to thank you for instigating conversation, that has been art based, and with a fellow artistic type person. Whilst I'll agree with much that ive heard, i do think Galleries and curators can kinda make an artist, but the artist has to be there to make.... You could be the best in the world, and try and make your own mark in the artistic world, but a gallery, the right gallery, or even the right public interest, from the right person(s) can really impact someones career. There are so many blinkered, to any art.... They choose not to understand. I try to believe that the art is in the making, in a creative way.... The outcome is maybe as important, but its the making of art. Maybe thats me forgiving myself for being, on some levels, a cr@pPy artist.... Lol. Who knows. Thanks though. ☺️Kx
He wanted a puff so he grabbed it
Thanks for what I forgot about doing art. Seriously, I cannot overstate what this reopens for me. I've taken a fuckton of art classes and adter decades forgot what used to make me good. Thanks for reminding me that doing whateverthefuck is awesome!
Brian STILL put this on Spotify 🙏
Salvador Dali was mentally ill, I don’t blame him, also not everything is real
Yea, but your other originals in the background probably sell for like, over $4k. Sooooo
Eh it'll walk it off
Or it could be a sign of mental sickness. Or people want respect or attention when it's not honored or reciprocated. It can also lead to affirmation of self dilutional way of thinking.
Hey Brian, I really enjoy your videos and you seem like a cool guy, I would like to be your friend, it's nice to have a drawing buddy sometimes and I like your art style as well. Lmk if that works for you 🖌️
