I'm from Reno, when I first got into the punk scene there was a basement at a place called "The House of Dread" on Taylor st. Years later my friend Joe moved into the same house, renamed it "Ground Zero" and brought a Pyrate Punx crew into the mix. I even lived at the house for a short time. So much funking fun. The same slumlord still rents the place to this day.. I'm not sure if they still have shows, I'm now 36, with a job, a wife, and a couple little kids of my own, so i'm no longer in any kind of scene.. I smile when I see some kid walking down wells Ave. With bright orange hair or a vest with a Resistant Culture back patch.. I remember those days. It was magical. Thanks for the video man, hope some kid sees this and creates a basement venue of his or her own
