It's the explorer mage link skill debuff. Reduces the boss' defense and increase damage done to them.

This video was recorded before the Dreamer/ GO WEST patch. When I did my Cannoneer's weekly bosses yesterday, it did feel a lot smoother. The burst damage on your big cannonballs comes out faster due to the decreased amount of lines. The damage was also buffed substantially. The same goes for your Origin skills. There's more lines however while some classes got nerfed, Cannoneer was buffed. All of this is only relevant to burst though. The DPM is otherwise the same. Maybe I haven't invested enough into my Cannoneer but I can't say I noticed a HUGE difference. Maybe it's more noticeable in late/ end-game bosses like Kaling and Kalos.

The change to cm was +70 fd roughly to their bullet bills. Which vastly boosts their burst

Thank you. I appreciate that! I do feel like you're correct, Cannoneer is on the weaker side. They did just get a very solid buff. How it compares against the Reboot final damage passive nerf... we'll see.

First of all: Thank you! Some advice: Even in solo play, Bishop is still very strong. Just need more investment. You need a lot of buff duration. It is a requirement on your inner ability and a new Legion page with buff duration just for your Bishop. I still recommend it, especially if you want to one day to play with other people. Bishop is a very wanted class in parties. Hope this helps and good luck!

I felt that. I used to duo everything with an I/L and if we didn't wallbang a boss for maximum damage on frozen orb it was such a big difference. The love for the class is definitely there but sometimes the frustrations get the best of me. Hopefully you can keep on enjoying your class the same ways I usually do too!

Hayato got some REALLY good damage buffs at the start of Newage, not even counting 6th job. It's a shame it came at the cost of some of its mobility.

I really liked Evan on release (maybe nostalgia tinted glasses) but I just can't get into the class anymore. They any good now? Aran has been eating good in GMS for a long time. Very beautiful class with some good numbers due to our higher attack speed.

It's not really fair, I do lose door multiple times. Thank you though! Realistically I probably lost 3 or 4 lives. Bishop has a really easy time here. Divine protection is a barrier against 5 status effects, your attacks are really fast, saving Will/ Seren skill for darkness to take care of the flying mobs all adds up to a comfy clear.

Bishop grinding is very lazy. Two summons and a bunch of good FMAs on a low cooldown make map clear a breeze. Even more so now that Reboot has lost the HP multiplier so your summons can one shot a lot easier. There's a great guide by Plaudible that has a lot of lazy rotations that I've used to make my way up here.
