    Oh hey guys again (sorry). I also found this clip from the Terminator 1 movie... After the T-800 tries to kill Sarah in the nightclub and is saved by Reese with the shotgun (and says "Come with me if you want to live") they both run to the backdoor of the nightclub and into the alley. The Terminator definitely starts running after them and when it reaches the alley continues to run after them. It's certainly not at the T-1000 speed levels (obviously), but it's definitely not just a jog either. It's chasing them at a fairly decent speed. Also, when we are transferred to the "Terminator Red Vision" it distinctly says on his screen "Run On" as he is pursuing them. Reese gets to a car, shoots another car in it's fuel tank causing it to explode. The Terminator (still at running speed) leaps through the flames up on top of another car and then LEAPS off it onto the bonnet of the car Reese is reversing to try and get away before punching through their windscreen. It's not any kind of "super jump" obviously but you can see from how far back the car was when it lands on the bonnet that it was a fair distance. It certainly didn't just "step up" onto the car and then "fall" onto the bonnet... it jumped twice. So this sequence shows an original unaltered T-800 both running and jumping (and once again this is obviously canon). Link to You-tube clip below. (The part you want to watch starts at the 4 minute 20 second mark, and goes to the 5 minute 23 second mark). th-cam.com/video/vtloZNaoV-0/w-d-xo.html

    Ok... I've thought about the Terminator 1 inconsistancy you brought up too. In Terminator 1, it is at least the 3rd altered timeline when Kyle Reese got sent back in this movie. Timeline 1: Originally, (Pre-Terminator 1 movie). John Connor sent back Kyle Reese to save his mother. In this original timeline, Judgement Day happened later (due to there being no chip or hand to advance the technology faster to create Skynet). Likewise, John had no prior training or knowledge of the future Apocalpse War, so although he still managed to get Skynet on the ropes... this victory happened much later also. In this original timeline everything happens many years later than the Terminator story which we are all familiar with. Judgement Day, the beginning of the war, humanity defeating Skynet. Each happening many years later (perhaps by even more than a decade) than what is described to us in T1. Skynet sent back a Terminator to kill Sarah Connor and John sent his most trusted soldier back to stop it... Kyle Reese. Who was DEFINITELY NOT his father. This version of Kyle Reese was much older than the version of Kyle that we knew in T1, and had fought and survived in a much more difficult war (without John's pre-knowledge of future events). He was a true veteran and far more experienced in fighting Terminators than his younger variant. So when he went back, he not only managed to save Sarah. But he also successfully destroyed the T-800 and didn't die. Kyle continued the mission to protect Sarah, but in the years following Kyle realised there was a problem. The events had altered the timeline and whoever the father of John was never met Sarah. She never got pregnant. John's birthdate came and passed... but there was no John. Skynet had succeeded in removing John, but just not in the way that it had intended. Timeline 2: Sarah and Kyle knew what they had to do. Despite their age difference, Sarah and Kyle had grown very close over the years following him saving her (and him always devoted to her to make sure she was safe). When she became pregnant and it was a boy... Kyle and Sarah of course named the child John. They raised him together and using Kyle's extensive knowledge of the future, including Terminators and Skynet, taught him everything he needed to know to become "John Connor - Leader of the Resistance". This John was not the same John that had sent Kyle back... he was a completely different person. In looks, in genetics, in mentality. Kyle created a "better John" even better suited to fight against the machines than the original John (who was now non-existant) ever was. Kyle creates a living prophet armed with knowledge he shouldn't have. A man tailored specifically to fight and destroy Skynet. Soon after the war started, this new John quickly became a serious threat and a plague to Skynet. Inconcievably seemingly able to predict its every move before it had even made it. This brought the war to its closing days far earlier than in the previous timeline. Desperate as before, Skynet sends a Terminator back in time to kill John before he was ever born. And as before John sends back Kyle Reese to stop it. But there was a problem. Kyle was far younger than he was the last time. John had been too successful in his campaign, and too protective of the man he knew would one day become his father. This version of Kyle had not had the extreme experience, the extra years of loss and successes that were hard won with heavy cost as his previous version had. So when he got sent back... he saved Sarah but this time he was killed in the process. Timeline 3: Fortunately, being closer to Sarah's age this time. In the short time they were together, she became pregnant. Unfortunately, without Kyle surviving the chip and the metal hand were found and used to create Skynet far sooner and bring up Judgement day to an earlier day in the timeline than before... August 29, 1997. And without Kyle's knowledge and guidance, Sarah had precious little information about the future beyond just the basics. Sarah of course did the best she could to prepare him regardless. In this altered timeline, John has been preparing for the war all his life. Trained relentlessly in tactics, strategy and weaponry by Sarah. But this time he doesn't have specific details of what exactly Skynet is going to do. He still in a thorn in Skynet's side as always... but victories are still much harder won, with far more significant losses. He brings Skynet to its knees earlier than in the original timeline, but still later than he managed to in the timeline previous to this one. This version of John was never raised by, or ever knew his father beyond just a name and what his mother told him. So when he meets a young Kyle in the future, knowing he is going to be sending him to his death. John gives Kyle a photo of his mother. THIS Kyle is finally the version that we meet in Terminator 1. The one who was given the photo of Sarah by John. The one where it is already known by future John that he wil become his father. The one where the damaged chip and metal arm leads directly to the creation of Skynet. The one where Judgement Day happens in 1997. This is the variant timeline that is the movie we know in T1. And creates what appears (without the knowledge of the previous timelines that led to it) to be a paradoxical loop.

      somebody PLEASE give snaek29 a writers contract! @DynamiteEntertainment @Netflix lol what a creative mind you have. not only would this "fix" the paradox loop we mentioned, it also fits in with Terminator lore and could make for a badass story to be told. my hats off to you

    You absolutely can get a PC near the PS5 Pro for $700…. Its a console thats using a beefier gpu while still using 4 year old core hardware. In fact I would argue you will get better overall performance out of a PC at that price more consistently. PS5 Pro won’t hit 4K 60 on most games and only upgrading the GPU is going to cause a bottleneck on performance. Its fine to be excited for PS5 Pro but lets not make things up to feel better about paying $700 for it. Its a upgrade to really one component on a aging console. Its easily replicable for the same price range on PC. Also something people conviently like to ignore when comparing any console to PC… your paying alot more for a console over the long run compared to a PC. So even if you say have to spend $800-900 to match the Pro(you dont)your still getting the better deal on PC as online is free, more games available, actual free games etc.

    • @theESEfiles
      @theESEfiles วันที่ผ่านมา

      We appreciate your thoughtful comment and input! You bring up valid points, especially regarding 4K 60fps and how the PS5 Pro might perform in real-world conditions. However, until the Pro is officially released and tested, it's hard to say for sure how well it will meet Sony’s claims. If it does hit those benchmarks, I believe your estimate of $800-900 for a comparable PC build seems pretty reasonable. As for the long-term value of PC gaming, we definitely agree - free online play, versatility for other tasks, and the broader game library are big advantages. Consoles and PCs both have their strengths, and it's great to have options depending on what someone values most. Thanks again for the comment and we hope you continue to keep us in check ;)

    I'm a fan of Terminator. I've seen all the movies and I know the messed up convoluted mess the writers put themselves in when building on this universe. While I liked the first episode of the show, I quickly got annoyed with the kids and Misaki on basically how useless they were and annoying. They almost had no purpose other than to create a stupid, annoying, time wasting B plot to distract from the main interesting A plot of the story. Eventually, they all finally reunited together. But this could have been much more interesting and important than what it ended out to be. I didn't need to see annoying kids dealing with life, complaining, fighting with each other, and not knowing what to do when they kinda matter very little to the overal story and taking literally like 6 out if the 8 episodes to finally reunite together just to finish explaining everything in episode 7 and 8. I personally liked the concept of basically taking the Marvel approach to time travel in where they create a new future or new universe. This explains perfectly all the terminator films and the constant time travel inconsistancies and the endless battle of Skynet and the Humans in almost every single timeline or in this case universe. Judgment day seems to be that one point in time that can't be prevented only delayed. Making Skynet inevitable. The only solution would be to fight the war and win it within that timeline/universe. While I do agree that there are some inconsistancies with a max 180 pound woman being able to hold a 400 pound Terminator and being able to take those punches thst would basically kill any person, that my friend is called plot armor 🤣🤣🤣🤣 if it was realistic she would have been dead a long time ago but im willing to suspend my level of disbelief for the sake of trying to understand what the plot was about🤣 but I agree that if it was consistant with the lore and everything, aint no way that woman would have held on to a terminator like or even kick him to knock him off balance or even hold on to him. But it is os what it is. I'd give the show a good 7.5/10 just because it created a newer concept of a the same plot we are used to seeing in Terminator and it was a fun and exciting Anime. Definitely worth watching for plot purpose and the concepts of it.

    Just finished the season today. It's decent. There's the typical plot holes you find in all the Terminator movies, like the T800 is efficient and precise unless it's up against plot armor. The writer seemed to want to add some existential criticisms about the human race, from the viewpoint of AI, which was ok. Gave me something to think about for a minute. I think it was good. Some flaws, sure. But nothing like we've seen before. And a T800 can run and jump. Not sure why this dude thinks they can't. There was some filler that could've been trimmed, but the series was a net positive. Check it out for yourself

    • @theESEfiles
      @theESEfiles 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      jump to 12:57 regarding to the running and jumping if there is a season 2, they can easily create a fix to our complaint about it by confirming a different T800 model. but yeah, we agree the precision was way off. it was borderline storm trooper bad. otherwise, the story was thought provoking and was a fresh face lift on the story

    It could be said that the reason the terminator isn’t strong is because it’s not a normal terminator it comes from a timeline brand new to us, it comes from a time where kokoro is evil and is fighting humans and Skynet alike so I’m sure they cut cost of perks better for fighting man to be better at fighting machine, but also the terminator says in the last episode an alliance was broken between humans and mankind, maybe at that point terminators are build more for destroying robots then humans?

    I didn’t like the scenes of her fighting a terminator hand to hand, but then I remembered this is an anime and that’s exactly the kind of shit I signed up for when I decided to watch the series. There are a few moments in the action scenes where characters that are supposed to be regular humans do things that are beyond what a person should do, but not beyond what your average anime protagonist can do, and so I gave it a pass on that because I found the story and characters quite good. The action scenes also drastically improve by the end of the season.

    Firstly, it's a T-800 variant. Not exactly like the original Terminator model. We also know that it is also from a deeper future timeline as Skynet has "made a deal" with humanity (if the Terminator can be believed). Due to this we don't know exactly what additional protocols (especially regarding specific humans) it was given due to this. But regardless, we still dont know exactly in what ways it is different yet. Is it made of lighter materials? and therefore designed to be able to run and jump unlike the original T-800's? Is its frame or internal mechanisms different or altered in some way? We just don't know. However, we do know that at least programming wise it is more sophisticated and definitely does not have its "learning computer chip" turned off like Arnold in T2... as it can constantly adapt to changing situations as they happen quickly and efficiently. Secondly, it does not take place during the Terminator 3 timeline. That timeline was moved forwards into the future due to the events of Terminator 2. This series is taking place in the few days before the ORIGINAL Judgement Day (the one that Kyle Reece remembers when he talks to Sarah Connor about it in T1). Meaning that this timeline has not yet been effected by what Sarah and John did when they later blew up Cyberdyne. Thirdly, in the original Terminator movie. The Terminator shows up at Sarah's house but she isn't there and gets into a scuffle with Sarah's house mates boyfriend. In that fight he not only lasts for a bit fighting hand to hand with the Terminator, but at one point the boyfriend actually charges his legs and manages to lift him up off the ground and backwards off his feet successfully. Only dying soon after. Sure he didn't last long, but he did manage to give him trouble. Regardless of what you think, it did happen and it is canon. I actually really liked the series for multiple reasons. Except for 3 things. 1) At the beginning (the scene in future post apocalypse) multiple times the Terminator seemed to be too inaccurate with his gun for no obvious reason when he had a reasonably clear line of sight. 2) When she went off the bridge in the truck and somehow managed to go out the window, run up the top of the truck and jump to grab onto the edge of the bridge all after the truck was already falling (which is impossible). And 3) What you guys are talking about. The 2 scenes where she is taking on the Terminator hand to hand didn't feel right. Especially the one where she is holding him and getting smashed in the back repeatedly. She should have died pretty damn quick. It didn't make sense. Initially I thought that she might be some kind of cyborg, with some mechanical parts mixed in and that perhaps that is why she was chosen for the mission. But by the end that seemed to not be the case. But at the end a new possibility occured to me. If the Terminator is telling the truth and it was sent into the past by the kid, then very likely his future self would have insisted on certain protocols being added to it's programming before being sent back in time. Which is likely why it couldn't kill him or his brothers and sisters. I believe the reason that the Terminator changed it's mission parameters after threatening his father that he would kill the boy if he didn't open the door, was because he literally couldn't. His programming wouldn't allow it. If that is the case, then it is more than possible that his grandmother would have been included in that "no kill" order, maybe even in the future (which is perhaps why he was so inaccurate). He could hit her in order to achieve his mission, but not kill her. After all, if she dies at her current age, he will never be born. If you think about it, this actually kind of fits. His father could be killed because at that point he had already been born, but his younger grandmother couldn't because she hasn't given birth to his father yet. His future older self would know this. Although, that doesn't explain why the grandmother thought she could fight it hand to hand in the first place. She's from the future, she knows what a Terminator is and what it is capable of, so she should know that fighting hand to hand with one without any kind of enhancements is virtually useless and complete suicide. That (at this point) does seem to be an error. Unless she is actually enhanced in some way that will be revealed in season 2. Anyway, just thought you guys might want to know.

    With Everything wrong with the new crow there were 2 main beefs I have. First, eric and shelly only being together for what? 2 weeks made it so I wasn't that invested in their relationship. The original crow movie made me feel more invested with the 2 minutes worth of flashbacks the the new movie did with 30 minutes of seeing them together . The 2nd thing is the way they were killed.. nothing takes me out of a murder moment more then when the victim has a plastic back over their head while their hands were free to easily poke hole or jist rip the plastic bag open. Sure they were also being choked out but a real quick rip of the plastic makes it so you can concentrate on getting out of the choke hold. Those are the 2 thing that pussed me iff the most.There is more about the new one I hated like how they were jist both murdered and that's it. The original shelly wasn't jist murdered but raped. You felt the anger and pain eric was feeling. Also making eric and shelly drug addicts was stupid. Let's glorify being a drug addict. It's OK if your a addict cause you will find love in rehab and if your killed you will be blessed with a 2nd chance. And I'm a 3 years clean former addict saying that Eric and shelly weren't these good people that they were in the original taking care of a teenage girl who's mother is a junkie, the new eric and shelly are more likely to get high with the little girls mother . Just stupid creative choices all the way around

    Alien and Aliens had two totally different vibes....mostly, in my opinion, due to the directors. Cameron did part 2 and at that time, you also had Terminator 1 and 2 (Michael Biehn) and many other popular action flicks. Aliens fit perfectly in that time frame but even if it had kept the dark tone like Alien did, Im pretty sure it would have been just as good and successful.
