A cleaner run than the previous one. I made some additionnal changes over my last run.
I've seen some questions about the route I used in my 100% unrestricted runs compared to older routes in previous WRs. Might answer them here if it can help.
The most obvious change is I do Sewers before the Ch5-7. Not because it is faster but because Waterun is my main reset point so it's better for me to have it as early as possible.
The other route changes are in Slums2 and Midtown. In Slums2, I get some of the music sheets in a different order (faster). In Midtown, I get the memories a different way because I want to take advantage of the reload checkpoint. This is mostly viable because of the load removal; if it was timed in RTA then I wouldn't do it at all. I also did this for the first memories of Dead End and Midtown, for a very minimal IGT gain, if it all. In my opinion, the only 4 memories for which reloading is worth it even in RTA are next to the musician in Slums2 (x2), in Sewers before Waterun and in the club basement.
In Antvillage I reverted to using the 100% Glitchless route. Previously I kept reloading too soon after watching the cutscene or kept failing the B12 interaction before meeting Zbaltazar. So I changed my route back to the Glitchless one because it prevents me from doing those mistakes. I haven't timed properly which 100% version of Antvillage is fastest but in my mind they were about equal.
In Jail, I attempted this (th-cam.com/video/KOBk8dntoWU/w-d-xo.html) strat instead of the usual one, which I failed miserably. This isn't some obscure optimization trick, just me failing a jump to go over the lasers and losing 15s.
