Tom was such a great character I don’t care what people say. If you call him toxic still then you can Call zuko the same. They might not have the same level of redemption arc but Tom actually improved and it wasn’t just to get back with star he went through a whole ritual to try and better himself, made friends, stopped pushing people away, got all the anger out. He used to be toxic but he grew up, Star and Marco were the real problems, Star cheated on him and Marco kissed his best friends girlfriend. (Which was a really stupid arc) Tom deserved better ngl.

Ngl its a cute thought but nothing I loved more in animation was finally seeing Marco and Star get together that was beyond epic was like build up and finally delivered unlike how most shows leave it will they wont they. I do wish if they did have a gay themed main character it would of been Tom and maybe even another human but the series didn't run long enough such a shame.
