    The Politicians literally robbed The people of Chicago and Illinois itself for the last 100 years and it still happening. Illegal immigration is replacing our people and funding is being diverted into illegal immigration programs. Illinois and Chicago will continue to lose people in mass. The leaders will end up with a city and state filled with illegal immigrants and no tax base left. Illinois is a very low grade state to live in. 👎👎👎

    Its a number of reasons. Sh*t parenting, drugs, mental issues, etc. If I decided to go homeless it's because I'm done with being a wage slave. I know so many people living paycheck to paycheck. High cost of living. They make their boss, landlord, utility companies and everybody else rich and they remain poor. Working to live. Greedy capitalism. It's a waste of life! Many will spend their entire lives paycheck to paycheck. I make good money but even I get sick of the rat race.

    Housing and rental costs are pricing people out of their own homes every day. Section 8 vouchers are deliberately insanely hard to get, and they have 60 day expirations. Add on top of that there are an infinite number of loopholes that allow property owners to refuse to accept vouchers despite rent control and housing laws and you will have a massive homeless population. It all comes down to deliberately low wages and legalized corperate greed. If they steal money no one notices. If we work 2 jobs we are accused of wasting company time and fired. To call it bullshit is an understatement.

    • @singlefather01
      @singlefather01 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      When was the last time you saw any homeless can afford anything? On the note, most property owners welcome the section 8, because it is a guaranteed payment. Most recipients try to conform to the rule. So I welcome it. As a matter of fact, two of my tenants are on section 8. I had some reservations at first, cause my apartment properties cater to more high end renters. They seem to be doing well finding a job and got the chance to get back into the working society. But most homeless has more issues than just a financial situation. That's the problem. There is nothing anyone can do for them.

    • @visceratrocar
      @visceratrocar 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @singlefather01 I can tell you've never held a section 8 voucher. Next to no one takes them because the government pays under market rent. When I recieved mine I had to call 356 complexes and only 3 accepted it. Of those 3 2 had 5 year waitlists to use vouchers that expire in 60 days. I just hot kucky and found a place that was first come first served. Two other people wrre looking at the same unit that day and I got the place because one wasn't approved and the other dropped out. I was not the manager's first choice. Don't lie to me.

    When people earning from 60000 $ a year would donate 0,001 th of their income,all the poor people and low wage workers could get a shopping cart for 60$ every week.wich would mean more sales in the stores,lower prices,fairer society.less criminal behaviour.I calculated this,and it ads up.Billionaires only have to pay up to 50000 $ each year so thats less then a thousandth.All you have to do is make a referendum,so people can choose for the new poor and lower wage taxes,for shopping cards.Also homeless get one,and every person of a householdface-red-heart-shapeIts better then a few rich people and a starving america.When americans want this measure,they will get things together again,instead of blamin eachother.may god enrich us with blessings,to share the least with the most.

    The American dreams is really dead even if those homeless gets shelter to stay in alot of them still be saying that people at the shelter are too rude and are really mean so they rather choose the streets for their freedom with no harassments and the streets seems to be more peaceful for them so that's how it is for them homeless l guess USA is collapsing more and more with crisis in crimes trafficking into the country when there is already enough crimes with racism,gangs and gun violence, drugs and prostitutions making more worser in America so the whites and black should be the ones to blame more for what they caused created from the start in the USA because they are the ones that is running the country with politicians and governments funds making the rules and laws

    Since the war began, the U.S. Congress has voted through five bills that have provided Ukraine with ongoing aid, doing so most recently in April 2024. The total budget authority under these bills-the “headline” figure often cited by news media-is $175 billion. The historic sums are helping a broad set of Ukrainian people and institutions, including refugees, law enforcement, and independent radio broadcasters, though most of the aid has been military-related.
