👍👍👍
is the spacers the same on both sides
Skipping parts of the removal doesn’t help much. It seems a lot of TH-camrs do the same thing.
Terrible video
very helpful thanks
Sorry but your video came up short, you did not say how to jack up the bike and how to lower the swingarm, very poor presentation. You should have also included that you can refer to the workshop manual that tells you how to lift up the rear guard to help with clearance.
Greg a million billion thank you's for saving this for the ages! And thanks for loaning me that Strat!
Thank you!
On this bike. Is the speedometer cable hooked up to the front or rear wheel ?
Neither. It's got a speed sensor in the trans
Too much talking, and not showing what is really important.
I read on the Road Star Clinic Forum that you can leave the axle adjuster bolts as is and that you are able to just loosen the axle nut and pull the axle and pull the wheel. You just move the wheel forward to pull the belt. This is a relief for me since I didn't really want to mess with the axle adjuster bolts and risk putting the wheel back on out of alignment.. Thank you for the video and explanation.
does a video exist of that version? I'm attempting to it myself for the first time. Thanks
its true… remove bags, (rear fender removal isnt needed but makes things easier), remove caliper, then remove the axle and the tire will push itself slightly forward.. take the belt off, add new tire and slip the belt back on and then put the axle back in, tighten axle bolt (dont mess with the adjusters), put caliper and rear fender and bags back on.. All done!
is the spacers on the bike the same for both sides for the rear wheel
20 to mount the tire and 60 to do the entire job...40 bucks more for a professional
terrible job
Unloosen, unthaw, undo
Helpful but could have been more descriptive. Wrench sizes? Actually removing the wheel?
Why not say what size wrenches your using and you talk too much.
Unloosen?
lol
Isn't that tightening it
you talk way to much. just get the damn thing off man.
Well done Thanks!
Thank you so much
Thanks Greg! Excellent video and quality information. Got a chrome rear pulley and a front naked pulley conversion to do to my 2003 next spring. Appreciate you sharing this.
I played Cara i this show. I swallowed snow in this show so the singing wasn't as good as usual :\ Cool video though!
