Congratulations Don and Jane. Your new vessel has obviously been extremely well cared for and finding that type of boat in immaculate condition is a real treasure. The past owners took their roles as caretakers to the extreme. So happy that you’ll be able to spend a lot of time onboard and really enjoy her attributes. You two have given so much to so many participants of your various undertakings and those of us able to follow every step of the way have benefited immensely. I couldn’t be happier for you and your excitement regarding your new purchase and what lies ahead is palpable. Rather large following swells which means grabbing a sight at the top of the swell. I think I would be using the plastic Davis in these conditions to save the number one sextant from a salt water bath. Excellent helmsmanship by the crew ! Love to see all the big smiles :) Captain C says piece of cake... so modest ;-)

Geweldig gedaan , bemanning en schip . Misschien niet op ior handicap gewonnen. Maar wel snelste tijd . Mistte daar een officiële prijsuitreiking van. Pen Duick en l'esprit d equipe zijn ook vroeg weer afgereisd. De rest of de vloot was nog steeds onderweg.
