Such beautiful knits ❤! Please check out Nikki's podcast, Knitting With Cat Hair. She has just swatched for the Agnes Kofka, and I'm so tempted! I've never knit with Rauma Finull, but it's on my wish list of yarns I want to try 😊
Ohh thank you so much! I will definitely check out her episodes!
The scarf/shawl/wrap you did on the machine is spectacular!!! How long did it take and how long have you been using your machine?
Thank you so much! It took maybe 4-5 hours and I started learning the machine a few months ago
Pretty cardigan! Matches green color of door!
Thank you! This must be my favorite shade of green 😊
You could dive in to the world of selbu mittens with the rest of your Hillesvåg yarn 😃
Great idea - thank you!!
Beautiful stuff you have made and I am interested in that new sweater you are thinking of making,!
Thank you! I have already cast on and I’m in love!
Hello from Norway. Thank you for a good knitting-time with you. I lived one year in Mansfield, MA many years ago and miss MA sooo much 🙂
Hello and thank you for comment! It’s a great state to live in 😊
just an fyi the way you showed you fixed your colorwork mistake you twisted the sts, just pickup the left leg of your sts not the right. Really helpful technique. Loved your vibes in general and really interesting to see people machine knitting wow 😍
Thanks for catching that! I better pay more attention next time!
Thank you for sharing your nice episode ! Your shawl looks very nice and cozy❤ What a great and beautiful solution for your stash
Thank you so much!
I also do both hand and machine knitting and loved seeing your work. Please keep including machine knitting in your podcasts.
@@majormomma I’m glad to know there are other people out there who are into machine knitting. I don’t see myself stopping any time soon because I’m loving it! Thank you for your comment!
Just found you on yt. So funny to see you sitting in the US lovning scandinavian knitwear and yarn❤. This week is fall vacation in Denmark where I live, and I am starting a efterår no 2 sweater as a treat for my self this week. Love you version. Kind regard from Birgitte Caning
-and LOVE you machinknittet shawl/blanket!!!🤩
@@birgittecaning5981 thank you for Your lovely comment! I certainly love my Scandinavian yarn and patterns! Enjoy your vacation and the efterår no 2! So cool to know that someone else is working on the same sweater
Beautiful FOs! Love the machine Rundt i Dalen. I have hopes of some serious machine knitting study this winter! Your repair technique with the crochet hook was brilliant! 🧶
@@LATHEANDLOOMPODCAST thank you for your comment! Good luck on your machine knitting adventures! It’s very fun and challenging at the same time
I just got a bunch of rauma for the Agnes too! We’re thinking of doing a Wiola designs KAL soon! My visit to the woolly thistle was very inspiring and I got a lot of plotolopi 😂 beautiful knitting as usual ❤
@@FiberTrek thank you so much! It seems like the Agnes is very popular right now - I’m so happy to know you are also planning to make one and I can’t wait to see yours! I’m also very jealous of your trip to the Wooly Thistle - I hope to make it up there one day! A Wiola KAL also sounds amazing
I really enjoyed your podcast! Love the colour work patterns you chose. Knitting is such a creative adventure. I will watch more of your podcasts for sure.
@@Janice-s2y thank you so much for your very kind comment!
Beautiful projects Sara! I purchased Wiola's e-book a few weeks ago and immediately ordered yarn for the dark version of the Agnes Kofta. Both versions are so beautiful and I look forward to seeing yours. Happy Making 🤗💕
@@KnittingWithCatHair thank you so much! I’m very excited to know other people working on the Agnes! Enjoy!
The deep armpit does not fit well under a coat in winter
I love all your knitting and tips. I would love to have your cute Halloween pattern. Thank you for your lovely episodes 😊
Wow - SO many beautiful FOs! Your Husband's sweater is such a great combination of color and texture! Love seeing all your color work sweaters!
Thank you so much!
Your Loge Sweater looks great. It was really cool how you fixed your colorwork mistake. 🧶Your Rundt i Dalen is beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
Hi, I like your cozy channel and your colour choices. To your question in the video. With slip stitch you can make automated short rows, did u know that? It only knits the holes of your punchcard and slips the others. I made a video how you could use this for short rows. It is in my video on how to knit a hexagon.Jeanette
Thank you for your comment and help regarding slip stitches! I will make sure to check out your video
Thanks for sharing. I love your finished objects🥰!! I knit a lot of Norwegian colorwork, so I am a fan of your knits😊. I love the sweater you knit for your husband, too. A classic style! By the way, I knit the Agnes Kofte, and I love it🥰I can't wait to see your finished Agnes Kofte!!
Thank you so much! I’m very excited to start working on the Agnes!
I have been checking on your new video almost every day since the last one. The Loge Sweater looks gorgeous on you husband! The color is so beautiful. I have also finished my Loge Sweater (for my boyfriend). Your tips about the diamond diagram were very useful though I ended up modifying the pattern so much that I had to change the diamond chart as well 😅
Thank you for your comment! How fun that we have knitted the same project!
@@KnittingJungle yes!! And I actually couldn’t find much about the pattern. Or someone who has knitted it. Btw I have knitted recently another Järbo pattern as well - Slåtter-tee. I highly recommend this one for the next spring/summer season 😉
Yes, I can’t seem to find many people knitting Jarbo patterns, although they have many good free ones! I’ll be sure to check out the Slatter tee you mentioned!
Seriously impressive knits there 🎉 very interested in how you use your knitting machine to knit parts/ whole garments. Amazing!
Thank you so much!
Hi! I'm from Northern Sweden. Love the dress and the slippers 🤩
Thank you very much!
Hi Sara, I’m working on my Seaton right now in the South End. Just about to steek. You might be able to hear the screams soon. Your Seaton is lovely 🥰
Haha! Good luck! The end product will be well worth it!
Hello Sarah, not sure if it is the lighting but the yolk sweater's left sleeve? is a shade lighter which is obvious from where it was knit on the machine. Possibly the change of tension?
Yes, thank you! That’s also where I ran out of yarn and had to change to a different dye lot 😭
I’m about to start the Loge sweater for my boyfriend. So I am very curious about your progress as there are not so many projects of this pattern on ravelry. 😊
It’s a great sweater! I finished the body and started on one of the sleeves so far. Just watch out that the diamond motif is centered on the body - I think I saw on Ravelry that on some of the sizes the motif didn’t line up with the center. Best of luck!
@@KnittingJungle oh thank you! That’s a very useful tip 🫶🏼 I hope to see it in your new video 😉
I believe you will! It’s my main WIP right now 😊
Wow, so many beautiful knitted things. Especially I like your "Sett i Dalen", the design from Kristin Viola😊
Thank you so much!
Loved your podcast. Look forward to the next one!
Thank you!
Your projects look amazing! 🧶I especially like your Serkinet Cardigan. The guinea pigs and foxes are so adorable! Love the velcro idea to make them fluffy.
Thank you so much for another kind comment!
Nice vlog Sarah, you’re very inspirational!!🥰🙏🏻
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful podcast💗Thank you Sarah🙏
Thank you so much!
Just discovered your channel, loved this episode! The cardigans and the mittens particularly. I’m amazed you self drafted the pattern for the mittens. 😮 Beautiful.
Thank you for your kind comment, and welcome!!
Your black and white sweater is absolutely stunning! I’m so impressed by your brave attitude toward the knitting machine!
Thank you!!
Another inspirational one thanks!! Must make the first sweater you talked about and those gorgeous gorgeous mittens!!!
Thank you!
Such a lovely podcast. Thank you Sarah. All your knits are amazing.
Thank you so much!
You're always so inspiring....and who knew that I must knit a guinea pig! ❤
Haha! I have no experience with real guinea pigs, but found myself needing to make them as well!
Wow wow!! My wooly wool heart is full after watching this feast. Incredibly inspiring projects! Me: adds all projects to queue 😆 And asks Santa for a knitting machine. Love that you were knitting those Norwegian mittens in Maui.. I knit on the Toffeln skogsstjärna - Arctic starflower slippers by Kajsa Vuorela Fredriksson while I was in Maui 😂
Thank you for your very entertaining comment 😂! I love that you were knitting on slippers in Maui!
I am in love with your structured cardigan, and light gray is my fav color!
Thank you! I also love it 😊
I’m one minute in and have to tell you to check out the new Laine Nordic Knits 167 magazine. I just preordered mine from The Woolly Thistle and am so excited about all the patterns. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I’m definitely going to check it out!
Thank you for the nice podcast episode, your mittens are very beautiful ❤
Thank you!
New subscriber here! I’m going back and watching some of your older videos. I love all the colorwork knits.
Thank you very much!!
Gorgeous jumpers! I grew up in RI and my mom had a knitting machine. She just passed last year and you reminded me of the good times we had going to the yarn mills in Fall River. She even made a few dresses for herself and her friend for her daughter’s wedding. The Kate Davies cardigan is gorgeous. I’ve always been intimidated by trying her designs even though I’ve been knitting for many, many years. You’ve inspired me! I love color work and am making my 6th Porty Pullover (Gudrun Johnston). Looking forward to watching the rest of your videos. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for writing such a lovely comment! The yoke on the Porty is beautiful
Love your style!
Thank you!
What a wonderful treat to come home to your podcast! I just love your sweaters and your cute guinea pigs and I enjoy all your tips. You always inspire me to make different types of garments. Right now I'm working on the Salty Air Tee by Samantha Guerin. It has a beautiful lace yoke but I'm going to look for a color work project after looking at your beautiful color work mittens and sweater! Hugs from Texas!!
Thank you for your very kind comment! The salty air tee seems perfect for Texas fall weather!
If you ever have to mix dye lots again (or using hand dyed skeins) use the alternating skein knit method. It blends in the other color much better. I use the ‘carry forward’ method.
Thank you for the tip! I will research the carry forward method you mentioned
Your projects are all wonderful! It's so amazing how you did that colorwork project on the knitting machine!
Thank you so much!
I love all your colorwork knits!!
Thank you! 😊
Your Bifurca Vest is stunning! 🧶Love the Scandi Slippers. I'm from North Carolina.
Thank you so much! Almost slipper weather here!
My goodness you are such a talented knitter!!!
Thank you so much!
Your projects are stunning! You make me want to try knitting colorwork. 🧶
Thank you! You should give it a try!
