Hi, thanks for the video. What do you think of the Nitron rear shock compared to the original? Mine is still on it's original shock as it's only done 16k miles and handles well enough for road use and is pretty good at ironing out the bumps. I've rarely found an after market shock that's as good as the original, so I'm interested to hear what you think. Cheers

Chassis is from the yzf750r

This is not the same chassis as the FZR. It's different. Had both.

Nice car , would have been cheaper to get an RC version though.

The stock shocks mounted to new 4 link brackets is effectively raising the truck. The axles are swung down and closer together. That might explain the discrepancy in the advertised wheelbase and what you got. Excellent video! I think I'm going to buy this kit. Thanks.

Had 1 years ago , got rid in 06 , no choice due to move but it broke my heart seeing it ride off😢. How many times have you done the stem seals ?? 😅 . But what a bike ❤ on the road it would eat the then notorious "Blade" alive . It,d be nice to find it , maybe your vids will make me .... 👍

Keep it, I've got one and love it, I've owned arguably much better bikes, 04 blade for one, in every way measurable the blade was better, but the big ace makes a better road bike, properly fast handles much better than it looks and stops on 10p. Mine won't be for sale any time soon.

I had a Thunderace, and it was a great bike, now 20+ years later, I have the very similar type of machine, a ZX9R from 99, don' sell your Ace!

Migrated 91 FZR 1000 to 96 YZF 1000. I enjoyed the bike, very comfortable and would lift tghe front in 4th at 60mph+ Migrated to the 98 R1 and that, was that.

Had a FZR1000 exup, bought an 99r1 in all honesty, was disappointed with the R1. Exup pulled your arms out all the way to 180 and is more planted. Top bike.

If they were good then, still good now, despite whatever else comes along

I really enjoyed this and thank you for the thorough walk through. My clutch basket currently sounds like a bucket of rusty spanners so this has reassured me in getting it sorted...

I have ridden a Thunderace, great bikes! I own a YZF750R, my newest bike is a FZR600R, which I fitted Blue Spot calipers to, they make a big difference, so long as you fit the matching master cylinder.

I love the Big Brute! I love these Kyosho trucks! What I hate is that the availability of parts is very limited, the opposite of Tamiya, which has spare parts for its cars in any hobby store! (How are the transmission gears?) At what maximum speed can we run these cars so as not to damage their differential and transmission? Greetings

Had mine for 17 years. Not used this year, no time. But a vEry underrated bike indeed.. ant get the same power and handling for what it is worth.
