I'd never heard of gnocchi until I started watching this video, and I had to look it up. Potato dumplings sound great! I probably won't be having this anytime soon, but maybe someday I can, in moderation. Have a blessed Sunday Gigi.

I'm like you, I like to mix different foods that I like and put together for a meal. My mom use to call those, "concoctions". All I know is that I'm using what I have to make different things.

I like using that package or canned chicken to use with Knorr rice and pasta packages. The Knorr packages don't cost much and they taste great.

For those canned potatoes, I cook the in a pot until hot, drain them, mash them & add a little salt, pepper, butter& milk & you have quick mashed potatoes. They are good that way too.

I know what you mean About the prices, It's crazy here in New York too. I thank the Lord that I have And over-the-counter card from my insurance company And every month they put $211 on it. That can be used for healthy foods. Plus I do get $80 in snap benefits. And I visit the food cupboard when I need to. With prices going so high on Food I do not buy meat very often. My pastor went deer hunting this year and brought me a lot of venison. I'm very blessed to be able to have that I love venison. And of course, because We got a raise In our social security, they dropped my snap benefits $30 which seems stupid with prices rising. You have a very blessed weekend.❤

Huge prayers!! Aww friend luck is nothing, but superstition! If we are blessed it is because of LORD JESUS. He rains on the just and the unjust! Groceries are high! Sometimes I feel discourage, because people will be like I fed my 10 kids on 200 dollars a month or something crazy, while we have 5 children and we struggle to spend just 200 or so a week!! We have been blessed my husband has a decent job! It's not some high end paying job, but we have everything we need! I am a stay at home mom so we are a one income family. I feel so sad when we go shopping and I've seen people leave their buggies of food, because their ebt doesn't work or they just don't have enough money to pay for it LORD JESUS is KING of kings and LORD of lords!

In preparation for the upcoming Texas chill down, I will be making some turkey chili. I have to go dig in the freezer here in a minute to find the ground turkey. Stay warm and safe next week. I have enjoyed the warm up for the last two days--plan on going out walking again this evening.
