How I fit 37’s on my Sequoia!
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
Brief breakdown of the suspension setup and what I’ve trimmed so far. Managed to get her stuck trying to show the flex. Lol. Possible broken axle up front and the rear truetrac doesn’t like have one wheel off the ground unfortunately.
EBC Brakes for the Sequoia!
มุมมอง 845ปีที่แล้ว
Time for some brakes on my sequoia. I mention having green stuff pads on it and that’s not entirely accurate. I had green stuff in the front and OEM in the rear. Ended up doing the front brakes later in the day. I’d be happy to quote any EBC products out for anybody interested.

Using bread to remove a pilot bearing. Does it work?
มุมมอง 362 ปีที่แล้ว
I had to give this a shot since I needed to remove this bearing anyway. Lol

LT1 Supra makes 1k+ HP!!!! And disaster happened!
มุมมอง 7453 ปีที่แล้ว
Smoked out the garage for fun. Yes I regretted it. Lol. We hit the dyno and made 650hp on low boost and 1065hp on high boost. Then a few days later sent a rod out the side of the block.
Removing the Bent Rod from the Supra!

Tearing the engine down to remove and replace what’s needed to get this thing back on the road.

It has become apparent to me that my funds don’t match the stick shift lifestyle. Lol. So trying something new out.
Header Gasket after Header Gasket

Going through every header gasket on the market until I find one that will work and hold up to these violent 2steps. My cousins LS Supra finally got to make a couple first test hits. He needs some slicks.

what did you regear to and did you do anything to the steering rack/ tie rods? Im thinking about a similar route to you on my first gen tundra but I think I will send in my steering rack to solo motorsports so it can handle the 37s
For the cam sensor bolt does it matter where is it located in terms of the crank?
So I have an Ole 05 chrysler 300 2.7 In my yard how hard you think it would be to throw this setup into it
Any idea what gauge those wires are?
@@ryanpierson6121 they are pretty small. Maybe a 16g
I can’t believe this worked for me. I did it exactly how you did it and it worked. What’s the concept behind this?
@@gavinwinks5953 often the ground circuit in the column for the horn goes bad. The cruise control uses a separate ground. So by taping into the cruise control ground you fix the horn. And both circuits do t have any serious current going threw them so it’s no big deal.
I have an 03 Tacoma with the same steering wheel. The horn beeps at erratic times. I can’t find where the circuit is grounding out? Clockspring?
On the 05 to 07 its the black wore. If you tap the black and white wore you'll get a flickering cruise control light. Other than that this works. 🍻
What did you do for the paint job on your sequoia?
My tundra horn was intermittent but it’s been not working at all for a long time. Could this still work?
when removing the steering wheel bolts did you use T-30 or T-25? im having trouble removing it
Worked like a charm……wish I had not invested in new clockspring
Worked great! 2003 Tundra SR5. I pulled the harness out and tested by jumping the pins directly. The color of my wires are different than yours.
My 2000 tundra is different. From right to left in the white plug is red, white, red and the white with black stripe. The first red goes directly to the horn switch. The other 3 go to the cruise switch. Do I still tap into the white and black wire?
I have no spark, switched the wires on the crank sensor and still no spark. Can anyone help.
Do you have to use the terminator x box or can you use another Holley computer
How would hood-up a 3 bar MAP to the Holley
Can the setup work with a 4L60E transmission?
Why not just put the entire torque head kit on it wouldn't it be easier, or is there an advantage to having the holley setup?
Spent hundreds of dollars at a shop trying to get my horn fixed, they replaced the clock spring and it made no difference. After seeing your video I ran a grounding wire from the white wire to that screw and voila, my horn is fixed. Many thanks
Just wanted to thank you for the video, my 2000 Tundra has been hornless for about a year now, only working when it wanted to. 10 minutes and it's back alive thanks to your video!
Can you do a video on the cam and crank sensor :/
I would like to know if you still have the Holley & torque head setup and willing to sell it? I’m surely interested in
Hey Mike- thanks for your video and education about this project. I’ve watched this video several times and in the process of converting my LT1 to this setup. I hope you would be open to answering some questions and sharing your thoughts and experiences with me once I crack this egg open. Nice ride, I look forward to seeing your posts. Cheers
I did it, and it left my cruise light on. Don't know what went wrong, but i did it exa tly as explained there.
Which wire did you tap into, and did you reverse it after your cruise light came on ?
Only tap into the white wire, NOT both of them
Does it matter which wire you tap into ? Thanks
Just did it, it's the white wire in the group. It has little gray lines on it. Just tapped in, soldered and connected to the screw he did and so far it works great. The cruise control light works fine.
@@kitcarsonsghost5845 Thanks
Yes, just the white wire!
how did you get your vvti cam gear to be recognized by the LS cam sensor?
im looking at doing the efi connection kit that includes the 24x conversion on my 96 lt1 engine, did you have any problems with the limited 4 inputs and 4 outputs the regular x has? particularly when boosting it and when running gauges as well? dont wanna buy and then figure out i cant run a aftermarket speedo and tach and all the other gauges in my swap. going with a dbc setup.
Thanks for taking the time to make this. Good looking rig.
I know this is resurrecting a dead horse kinda thing, but can you post up a parts list or some of the configuration settings to get the Terminator X to control the engine? I know you said a 36-1 for cam, but either I missed it or you did not say what the crank was.
Would i be able to run a gen 1 small block chevy camshaft? Also does this harness plug into my t56 magnum?
Can you show me the fuel rails please or explain how you did the front of them. Thank you
Those SPC UCA plays a big factor wen it comes to 3inch spacers. Nice to see im not the only one whos not discouraged by the lack of aftermarket parts for 1st gen Sequoias!!🤙🏾
its very sad, the second gen is so ugly Id rather hang myself then drive it. looking at gen 1s now
This is an excellent example of why Atrac is superior to mechanical lockers. If he hadn't stripped all of his electronic Atrac components off his rig, he would have been able to walk right through this. Mechanical lockers are just unreliable compared to Atrac! Neither of his mechanical lockers are working. Sorry, just the truth.
@dirtymikesgarage9053 in your research did you come across anyone or any info on doing this setup with a delteq coil pack conversion?
2JZ LS Edition. T56. Holley Terminator and a big ass intake manifold. Love it
I’ve been looking for this fix for a while. Are there only 2 wires coming from the cruise control? Tap into the white one? Thanks!
Hey, friend. Did you find out which wire to tap into or both ? I'm having the same issue with my 2009 Sequoia. Thanks
@@justathought1888 It's the white wire
Yes, white wire
Can you only put the gx460 brakes on the front?
Where you get the t56 kit? grennas? also why not use the 36-2 stock trigger?
i am swapping a 2JZGTE into my chevelle and got my T56 from Joel @ Grannas racing.
Love it. Ive got 35s and 5.29s. Going to throw my old 37s on my 3rd gen 4R on my 03 Sequoia soon. What muffler are you running? Sounds so good
Ahh yes, the ole open diff lockers...
Dudee where did you get those rock sliders?
Which of those two wires coming off the cruise control are you supposed to tap into?
Hey. Friend. I just saw this video and was wondering if you found out which wire to tap into or both ? I'm having the same issue with my 2009 Sequoia.
The white wire
Hows the lower ball joint holding up?
Do the sequoia’s not have traction control?
What setting did you set your spc uca on
Lt1 got em yes sir
I'm fucking with this man I'm building a 94 lt1 myself I need a little guidance
Man I love it
