  • @julianrivera460
    @julianrivera460 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's good to hear from you, Zach! Nebido hurts quite a bit since it's about 5ml of oil, I think, but you only get it every 10-12 weeks, so about three months, it's not that bad, also since it's of slow release the swings in mood and overall chemistry is almost imperceptible. I only used it for 6 or 8 months because I had it pay it myself and it was way more expensive. I hope you give an update soon!

    In my opinion it is work sticking with, for how much easier it is, as after the transition period you’ll only need to do it every three months, only four injections a year is a pretty minor inconvenience. There are good days and bad days with the injections, I’ve been in horrific pain afterwards and not been able to sit or lay down comfortably for 24 hours, but also ones where it hurt like buggery but eased up within an hour or so and I was fine. I was also struggling to remember to put on the gel, but in the last few months of it I was consistently putting it on every day. Despite this, since switching to Nebido (maybe like 5 or 6 months ago? I’ve only had one three monthly injection since the transition injections), my vocal range has lowered a bit, I’ve got more body hair, more facial hair, I’m actually starting to grow a moustache for the first time ever, and this is after being on the gel for a few years.

    I'm so glad you've made this video! Im going to be using t gel because I have a severe phobia of needles and I know I won't be able to cope with it every 1/2 weeks, hormone blockers are already such a struggle for me rn but I only have 4 injections left before I can start T!

    You look so good! after being on testosterone injections for 3 months I've decided to switch to testogel this week because I can't do the needles myself and always needed somebody else to do it for me. Testogel seems like a better alternative, so I'm excited! Any tips for starting testosterone gel?

  • @jcmeekle1769

    Did you have to stop using the testosterone gel at all? I’m going to be having surgery hopefully in July/ August and I’d be around 5 months on t. Thanks

    Dude you looking good. See you got the facial hair settling in quite nicely. I'm a bald because I prefer it, and just got facial, stomach, back, bit on the chest hair going on. And other places I will not comment on!😂. Acne has tapered off, got one or two pimples, but just about all gone. I'm still on gel 75ml, which works really well. If I take 100ml, I get way to aggressive and it gets way to dangerous to be around me. But, keep up the good work! I'm 9 years on T-gel, and doing well...Have a great day!

    Hi I've been a subscriber for a while and wow, these results are looking great! Hope you don't mind me asking but what aftercare did you use for the scars? And did you bind post op (if so, what sort of binder and for how long?) I should be having surgery with Mr Sankar in the upcoming months and I'm just a little unsure about how to go about aftercare..

    The gel obviously works well on you dude. I plan to just stay on the gel or cream. It works well on me. I suffered the same itch, but it comes and go. A friend on shots had switched to cream because his body started rejecting it. The cream works really well on him. Good luck on your journey.

    The shaved bit on your thigh is from where they have to earth you so that they can use an electro-cautery pen to seal up minor blood vessels that start bleeding during surgery.

    You look so masculine, after only 6 months! I'm on gel, and I was worried that the changes would be too slow, but this has helped calm me :)

    Body changes are good and T levels are steady.

  • @lokahi27

    Pretty good. I never really had problems. I guess it's all about being patient and love the journey one is on. I do feel for the guys who are in transition and family and friends freak out on them. Support is vital. For me it was not a problem. I was already boy like as a young child, so, it was not a surprise to people.

    I prefer the gel. I find it works evenly. more stable without fluctuations. will stick to gel.

    • @roadmapzach
      @roadmapzach 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      lokahi27 yeah I agree ☺️ the only time/thing I seem to have a problem with is when I don't have any gel or when I forget it.

    • @lokahi27
      @lokahi27 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      roadmapzach: I think the injections are way to fast. i understand that some T guys want to speed up the process. I guess there are a handful of us who like the way the gel works. I think for some the gel does not work as well. I don't like the acne! lol. not to bad, but it seems like I am going through puberty again!😂. Great videos, keep up the good work. my hands, feet are bigger as ever. I always had big hands and feet, but bigger now. Hope to see more from you. aloha from Hawaii!

      oh and quite hairy too.lol

    • @roadmapzach
      @roadmapzach 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      lokahi27 aloha to you too! I've found there isn't a difference in speed of changes on gel VS injection. My friend and I started t with only two weeks difference. He is in injections but are changes are quite similar in timing. His voice did deepen before mine and I got more hair before him. But I think they are very genetic factors.

    • @lokahi27
      @lokahi27 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      my friend you look like dude and your voice sounds like a guy. you totally pass. I have been on the gel for about 7 years and lapsed twice for only a month each time due to my medical coverage not covering certain T- gels and creams. But, all has been steady so far, knock on wood. lol. Good luck on your journey.

    Zach, thing are not great. My mother is phobic of me. She is not acceptive of identity at all. She disowned me completely. I'm Chinese. It's my thirtieth birthday today. Family values are extremely important. My dad ran away from home because of the pressure mom has given him. I love my dad and my dad loves me. It's so hard being trans. My rabbit Shaun passed away of a sudden death. She's three years and a quarter old. I miss her so much. I have another rabbit called Chilli. He's 4 years old. With Shaun passing away, I find myself unable to take good care of Chilli. I feel like I've failed everyone. I'm glad that you care and I've met you. Chilli sends his best regards to you in rabbit language . I'm just heart broken at the moment. Thanks for being a friend. And this is the best way I can articulate how I feel with my not so good English. Hope you don't mind.

      Je Suis Charley hello Charley, I am so sorry to hear you're not in a good place at the moment and that your mum does not accept you at the moment. Maybe with time she will slowly start to see you for you and maybe respect your transition and with time recognise you as her son. Five years ago my mum did not understand my transition but today she calls me Zach, her son and mostly refers to me with male pronouns. She has been at my side the last few weeks. I am not telling you this to make you feel sad but to show you there is hope with your mum. I'm sorry to hear your dad has been pushed out but it is great that he accepts you. Can you stay with him instead? Sorry to hear about your rabbits but it's good you still have Chilli! Maybe you could do something special?

      @Je Suis Charley Happy belated birthday 🎉 I really hope your situation improves. It will eventually and you will be a stronger person with tolerance for others going through things. My inbox is always open for you Charley (even though I often don't reply immediately I always will). And do not worry your English is perfect, much better than my Mandarin or Cantonese!
