agreed private servers are good if they are public, like hypixel is for minecraft... the doomsayers are just worried about people leaving the main game to play a private server.... but what they don't understand is that there are tons of players that already play the main game and unofficial rsps's... and just because you put effort into another account doesn't mean you quit your main.... you don't quit runescape you just take long breaks of varied durations

I have a feeling sailing is coming around xmas this year in place of Leagues, hence why we got leagues 5 early.

Im honestly glad to see that jagex is taking their time with sailing, and not churning out a rush job like varlamore p2.

I'm quite excited for the project Zanaris. At the moment I play only league and dead man mode. I really can't play the main game anymore.

I don't really understand the stop trying to make Forestry happen comment, but it does seem weirdly overly complicated if that's what you are referring to. Literally no one wants these weird niche things that work on 7 enemies in the game that are some prefight debuff of 5% defense and attack level. Especially as darts.

I feel like the Inferno needs to have Tzhaar weaponry and armour drops along the way like Coloseum and probably enrage boss do. Atleast you'll make some money while you're losing dozens of hours trying to get the cape. Or maybe some noted supply drops so it's not as expensive to grind it out.

Sailing is F- tier for me, no point of breaking 2277 for something that could be a minigame/expansion. Why do us max players have to grind a pointless non nostalgic skill. put this in rs3 and see if it flops at least 1st. If you remember the Bone Voyage quest, that would be what sailing as a skill would/should be, and everyone hated that 1 min of the quest. (OFC runelite would just make a click blue plugin for it.)

I get how people are finnicky about sailing, but theres like no shot in my mind its under S tier. it feels like the most 2007 RS update theyve ever come up with, feels like the most MMO & RPG update we seen in a long time, race to world first 99 is something thats been sorely missing since OSRS came out 12 years ago and it has almost uncapped potential for what they could do with it (sailing raid, PvP sea, randomly generated islands, ships as a new gear slot ect)

So maybe the Sol Heredits brother has always been jealous that he got to inherit the Sun instead of him and has LITERALLY lived in the shadows left behind by his brothers blinding greatness his whole life Slowly becoming more and more spiteful as time did not treat him well, he has been trapped in the obscure wake left behind who once was but is no longer his brother, the one who has become the Sol Heredit Stuck watching his brother experience extreme glory in the Colosseum his frustrations build, eventually the Umbral Heredit (the One who inherited Shadow) has procured enough power to feel worthy of challenging his brother and his Solar Reign Wishing to bring upon Varlamore an age of Shadow by blocking out all light from both the Sun and the Moon, the Umbral Heredit could act as a sort of fallen angel/antichrist type character to the Varlamorian pantheon of Ralos and Ranul, attempting to block out their worshippers connection to them or something... Idk just spit ballin here but you really got my imagination running 😂 and after reading wiki apparently Sol Heredits lore was intentionally left unwritten so that the community could theorycraft the lore themselves or something along those lines?? So there 100% IS room for a boss like this, the current canvas has been purposefully left blank! #TeamEvilSol

I have been playing since 2005. RS3 killed me by 2015. Came back to OSRS in 2020 and played mainly during Leagues. My honest take is that Sailing will be amazing-truly great content. It may even bring RuneScape back to the top as the best MMORPG by far. Sailing... they are going to make a new skill merging aspects of all the other skills. Tasks like Slayer, building like Construction, searching like in Hunter, lots of questing, and Achievement Diary potential. It will also bring new things to all of the skills. Underwater Runecrafting altars? New Herblore potions with sea stuff? Hunting underwater animals? Mining and Smithing deep-water materials? This is like a whole new game potential. And maybe that's why there is so much hate around it. People fear the Evolution of Combat all over again. I remain optimistic. This will be great for all of us.

The stats are comparable to a zombie axe with a dragon defender. Would be bad if not for the special and defence bonus.

Lean directly into the unique mechanic. Lower the offensive stats, make it 2T, keep the prayer scaling. Probably not worth being a mega rare either way but for sure would be cool to have in the game.

It's an interesting item, but there's a huge gap between trident and shadow that I wish they would fill first

I do not believe the raids 4 megarare should be a sidegrade weapon that is just a different style. I think they the next megarare a weapon of either 3 styles but it is a "tier" higher than the the current respective megarare. I think the raid should be much harder and possibly also longer than the current raids. In order to not devalue current megarares I think it should require you to use the current megarares as a component to activate the "super-megarare". There should be a tier higher than the current megarares. T-bow should eventually not be the strongest range weapon, same with scythe and shadow. Additionally I think they could use the next raid as a way to introduce one handed megarares along with offhands, but maybe they shouldn't because all the current ones are two handed weapons and that is also a sidegrade. . Also they could use the next raid as a way to introduce megarare armors possibly.

I don't think the current incarnation would work in the main game, at least not exactly as it is now. The problem is that the damage on the spec is typeless and cuts through any shields that are supposed to enforce damage caps like on Verzik or Huey tail. Otherwise I think it would be a great addition to the game.

In its current form you don't lose charges if you swap weapons so you can primarily use it as a spec weapon on top of having another spec weapon while doing most of your damage with something like a scythe. Its a pretty fun weapon so I'd be happy if the next mega rare takes from it. It would definitely be more fun using the spec charges for speedrun CAs instead of ruby specs.

i wish i could dislike this video more than just once. if you want to turn osrs into rs3 just play rs3.

They could also continue with the flat armor ploy and make another double hit weapon, just send DW khopesh, perhaps there will also be an upgrade to the dragon hunter wand

They could make the spec AOE just have a max hit equal to your prayer bonus only.

you actually do get the bonus slayer exp at jad with slayer relic without having an actual task so im assuming it does count for pet chance increase

just hit tier 8 and burnt out, 20 hard mode tobs done with no voucher rip. back on the main at MLM rn lol
