@@jayprovost7749 yours might still move if you put extra force to move it like acceleration or move it w your finger. If not starter might be your catalytic converters breaking apart.

@@BradLessy I’ve had spongy brakes for over a year. The grommet was torn letting pressure out. Once I swapped over to a new one the brake pedal doesn’t sink all the way to the floor leading to better braking.

@ yeah still hisses but way less after replacing grommet. Could be time for new brake booster. Trucks an 06 with 216k miles. But glad for now that my brakes work a lot better.

@victor_beltran i ran it myself. My car is an 08 so the dash is super brittle and I snapped a few pieces but hardly noticeable.

Yeah there’s a button you can turn off in settings. Think is auto beep or something forget what it’s called. & yeah it’s all plug and play no need to pull wires from behind steering wheel. If you want more explanation on this setup watch a video from Provo beast audio channel that’s how I was able to mine.

@@MrRockyko thank you sir more upgrades to come & yes loving it. Good ol tried and true v8. MPGs are awesome with cylinder deactivation but am thinking of deactivating with a tune. Also tune transmission for better shifting but luckily mine has been acting right.

@@tom7073not sure I didn’t gif that deep into it. there is a small light that turns on in the charger which is the power button. I’ve left it on before for weeks and hardy draws any power. Truck cranks up everytime. But you can turn off car charger and the light turns off as well. There an on/off button on it.

@@cody6.6max I did, mentioned in video I was leaving it with govee connection for time being. But put out another video where I wired it straight to fuse box inside on drivers side.

@@JBUNK. might be one of your 🐱s. Tap on them with a hammer or something to see if you hear anything loose in there.

@@MikyFPS I’d maybe look into getting a tapping screw and drill it wherever I can find ground if not you’ll have to extend and add more ground cable to run it else where around your vehicle

@@victor_beltrandid the exhaust plug and play nicely? No modifications necessary? Some people with the older f150s mbrp side exhaust complained about having to bend the tubes.

@@Oliver-ft2fq yes all bolt. Simple install & on no mods or cutting for it to fit. My truck is a super crew cab is what they call it with the short 5’ 7” bed.

Does it burn the mud flap ? I just bought this system haven’t installed it yet.

@@MrRockyko thank you & tbh not a mechanic so ain’t an expert on this. which 5.0 problems specifically? I know on these 14th gens they introduced cylinder deactivation on 2021 model & up on the 5.0. I’ve yet to find owners on TH-cam have catastrophic failures due to this. Only issue you can find on that really is exhaust noise complaints when it cuts out 4 cylinders. Time will tell on this engineering. Oil consumption seems it’s still present like many other 5.0 from the past. I’ve yet to experience any oil consumption though. So far my experience has been good with the 5.0 and 10 speed transmission. @@victor_beltran thanks victor yes the oil problems good to here yours is good as far as cylinder deactivation I no all v8 I guess today have that unfortunately I have a2019 ram 1500 classic with that I no my old 2013 also had it thanks for sharing all that love your truck it’s the last best v8 definitely out there good luck to you 👍

@@MatthewDominick-qy6mv no I didn’t have loss of power when accelerating? After you accelerate & get up to speed does it still feel like loss of power? You might have clogged and busted catalytic converters.

When it hard starts does it crank for a bit and turn over first attempt and drivable after or?? I would definitely scan truck for any codes. I’d check all possible ground cables for any corrosion or looseness. Also I would check crank sensor cam sensor and starter to see if connections power ground etc are good. Also check fuel pressure with gauge to see if it’s a good strong pressure and compare it to cold start crank vs the weak crank.

@ oh yeah broke into airbag again. for some reason I didn’t fully press down the two connections behind the airbag.

Yup just trying to show ppl who are wondering if raising the front end will cause enough air drag to make a noticeable difference in fuel economy. Apparently adding F250 tow mirrors cause lots of drag to drop mpg least from what I seen on here.

@@victor_beltran Took starter out today, the teeth on the shaft are just bouncing around. Got the AC Delco replacement, no noise. Problem is successfully fixed after 2 long years. Thank you so much! Phenomenal video and diagnostics!!!!

Been working good only complaint is I’ll drive to work roughly 10 hours and wireless CarPlay will disconnect a couple times. Can avoid if I hardwire usb but didn’t buy it for that. City driving no issues.

Steering wheel? Came stock with truck buttons and everything. Got steering wheel to connect to stereo with a Crux radio replacement got it off Walmart website. It’s plug and play.

What’s a decoder? Wouldn’t say flickering but my fogs tend to slightly dim then brighten back up in like a 5-10 sec timespan. Very hard to tell when it does happen but I’m very observant with my truck like that so I can tell. Also hyper flash still happens with upgraded turn signals I got from the company. It’s rare tho. But happens every now and again.

Good deal 🤙🏼 what average speed you running and fuel octane?

I averaged 70 mph, think I mentioned in vid. Only doing 70 rn since I’m still in break in period & got 900 miles on the clock. Once I drive back home from work I’ll be out of break in period and with a good oil change I’ll run another test going 75-80 to see what mpg I can get.

I did the math in city driving base off of miles I drove and by hand I figured out about 14mpg. With shit 87 fuel or whatever courtesy fuel the dealership topped off my truck with. On this truck when idle you can see your fuel economy drop. Literally 🤦🏻‍♂️seems like this 5.0 chugs some gas at idle. I’m sure you can save it by keeping to start/stop engaged but I shut mine off every time I get in truck. Did have lots of idle time tho so I do feel that 17 ford says you can get in city is pretty reasonable.

@@victor_beltran hey thanks for that. I must’ve forgot what speed you said you were running. I think that good mileage for a truck but it’s hard for me to say as I don’t drive one. I hope you like your truck so far and it serves you well.

@@Icantball67 thank you I appreciate that. & compared to my 06’ Silverado 5.3 it’s a world of difference. On that truck I get roughly 17-18.5 on a good day. Same trip as I drive out to west Texas a lot for work. Got it sitting on 33s and leveled.
