    if ai cannot watch any licensed movies to generate content, then anyone making a movie should have the equal restriction of never having seen a licensed movie. if you did exactly what AI did and watched a bunch of movies and created the exact same things, nobody would claim it was unethical, just took inspiration from other artists. if you don't want people to take inspiration from your content, the only way to prevent that is not to release it, not just randomly restrict AI to never being able to watch a movie. "but the AI could recreate the source". so can a human, just look at the literal children that Nintendo likes to sue over fan games drawn to look like pokemon. you don't even need a computer, you just need someone talented. you could easily send someone with a good memory, to go watch movies and then sell videos of themselves recreating it line by line, and that would be exactly the same, if lower quality. AI is not the same as copying, as copying doesn't require ai at all, they just call those cameras, and capture cards, they can recreate artwork instantly and easily without a supercomputer running multiple billion mathematical operations. when computers take other jobs, it is just a thing, but when it is artists, they claim it is unethical? makes no sense, why are artists any more special than any other job technology has taken in the past.

      There's no such thing as AI, that's your first mistake. There are PEOPLE who have advanced learning algorithms and large training datasets. Those PEOPLE are responsible for taking the work of other PEOPLE and replacing them. Those PEOPLE should be held accountable for their actions. There are no AIs anywhere making these decisions, and nothing even approximating an "artificial" "intelligence", which would be responsible for the act of compiling these training datasets, making the tokenization systems, stitching together all the algorithms needed to make it output something a person with zero taste can mistake for art. It isn't computers taking people's jobs. It is people taking other people's jobs. AIs don't exist, you've only just fallen for marketing hype.

      @@311forever weird rant about semantics, but okay, neural networks then. actions of letting a neural network take inspiration from other's works? or actions of recreating someone's work? the latter is obvious but the former is normally accepted. and it isn't marketing hype, AI has been the technical term for many decades before anyone made a company about them. what I am referring to is currently defined by the accepted terms AI as the most general, then machine learning, then neural network, then it goes to various architectures, so your rant is wrong anyway. I mean that has always been the case with technology taking peoples jobs, what does the fact that the technology didn't create itself have to do with anything. what technology did create itself? should anyone that made technology that took peoples jobs be held accountable for it? should tractor manufacturers be held accountable for making tractors when it takes the jobs of many men? i mean it was PEOPLE who took the work of others who made hand tools and created the process of tilling the soil and harvesting crops, they didn't just come up with those ideas without ever having seen a farm tool before, they didn't have to first come up with the idea of agriculture then the wheel then make their way up to tractor, they were allowed to start with whatever knowledge was freely available to them.

      This is such a dumb argument. The sheer entitlement is dizzying. AI is not a human being, it is companies taking your data and recreating it in ways that you haven't authorized. By your logic, voice actors shouldn't get paid because they have recorded your voice, it's okay for AI models to incorporate that data however companies want (Oh wait, they actually tried that with Scarlett Johansson's voice!) And while you're at it, upload your social security details here, please. Since you must've have shown those details to one company, let all companies have access to your data, your personal details and even your personal photos.

    • @benpierce2150
      @benpierce2150 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@riyadeshpande2028 except they didn't, they showed they didn't even use her voice for any of the training data at all. and what you are describing is recreating other people's work. wich again, you don't need an ai for that, that is just recording, no need for a supercomputer. we don't ban cameras and digital video recorders, even though they are MUCH MUCH better at illegally recreating others data. its not like saying they can recreate scarletts voice, its like saying the fact that it is possible to use it to copy their voice doesn't mean its existence at all is infringing. plenty of voice actors have sued other human voice actors who have copied their voice with no technology at all, and they actually won. so that means we need to ban all voice actors who are good at copying voices from ever listening to other voice actors?

      @@riyadeshpande2028 bette midler sued ford for using a sound-alike voice actor in an ad in the early 80's before doing it any other way was a pipedream. a human can equally recreate a voice, a microphone can recreate a voice even better though. similar for tom waits who was copied by both frito lay and audi with real human voice actors just mimicking their voice. what makes the ai worse?

    It’s definitely the wrong time to be pushing ai films to mainstream, as it still heavily lacks the artistic or realistic components of making anything great. Being ‘decent enough’ is a far too low threshold, and even ‘good’ doesn’t warrant a complete takeover when artists can product significantly better results, even if it costs more. Companies are far too deep in their own thoughts about profit that they’ve forgotten to actually listen and target what consumers want, which in this case is quality. It’s heavily evident in far more than ai too, and this common corporate framework is awful for society

    **TL;DR:** The iPhone 16 (and possibly other future Apple products) is getting banned because the Indonesian government elites took offense at Apple’s proposal for a 50-year tax break in exchange for factory investment. They rejected it purely out of nationalism. What’s even funnier is that Apple, a company from a so-called democratic country, is trying to dodge taxes while investing in a communist country like Vietnam in the end.

    Pelajaran buat perusahaan asing yang ingin memasarkan produknya di Indonesia tapi tidak bersedia menjaga hubungan timbal balik yang adil. Apple bermental penjajah, hanya ingin Indonesia menjadi pasarnya, tanpa mau memberikan apa apa buat negara tempat mereka menjual produknya, hanya Menjual barang terus bawa uang rakyat Indonesia keluar.

    The phone is a total joke, many users in China complain that the screen leaks not even from 1 day of use and some are already damage fresh out of the box. A repair for this phone is impossible at this time and the cost mentioned by Huawei is $1.1k for the screen. The chipset is a Kirin 9100 and the phone lacks the most basic functionality of being able to call without unfolding it to a mini tablet. Oh, and the design is copy from a rejected proof of concept by Samsung since t was found that the schematics were stolen and sold to Huawei by 9 people just recently. Final note, the scalping price in China for this has dropped more than 10 fold.
