    Most people who say the reverse hyper extension is bad are usually the same people who do not Squat or deadlift as with any exercise its best to try it for yourself most people are not give this e exercise a true chance to show what its capable of providing in strength and recovery. After using one i made i am impressed on how my hamstrings and lower back n abs are feeling, i do believe this is a game changer for weightlifting/ers Good luck Enjoy your weightlifting! What kind of technique did you use with this machine? Swinging style with momentum. If so, that's the dangerous thing about this machine besides hyperxtension at the top. The best and safest way to do this exercise is forget the traction part, don't let the legs swing under the machine, keep the range of motion partial and strict, elbows supporting your upper body in the table, don't move the neck at all and keep your whole back neutral and static, don't flex your low back and move just through the hips.

      @@enricosalvatore5346 exercises aren't going to fix a hernia. No evidence of that even being possible. Once the disc ruptures it's staying that way unless you get it cut out or possibly stem cells. I also seen on Reddit people who got stem cells for their hernia made it worse.

    Have found some half assed videos on TH-cam by channels with physio in the name. And some articles online too. I think they are sceptical because they didn't learn it in school, and therefore decide it must be wrong citing old research to back up their claims. Also back pain is one of the main reason people go to physio, so money could a factor in their opinion too. Their are so many testimonials and top medical experts that have given glowing reviews too. I'm going to buy one of these for my home gym, as I know I need more back strength after years office work and some old Ice Hockey injuries that have caused degeneration of lumbar discs. Even if all the claims are not fully explainable, results matter more than theories for me. We still know so little about the body in modern medicine and good physicians will admit that. Thanks to Louie for making this machine, and for the free lessons on correct and responsible use. Much love and remember, leave your ego outside when working out to stay healthy 🏋‍♂️🤸‍♂️🏄‍♂️❤

    Excellent. What does anyone think on here about overload "partials"? Since they are usually well above 100 % of 1rm of that particular movement can it have "negative side effects" such as the "Maximum effort method" might have? Or because it's a "partial" will take much more than it would for a full range exercise to perhaps get "achy joints" and CNS "fatigue"?

    Don’t know why some people diss Louie and the reverse hyper. Sorted my back out and I was crippled at times with my back. I have been doing reverse hyper for years and made sure my current gym has one. Best bit of kit any gym can get. For those saying it is like a Roman chair, it is not. It may hit the same muscles but it works totally differently.

      Hey man I know this is a long shot and idk if you’ll ever see this or answer but I want to know a bit more about your situation and journey. My wife is in constant lower back pain, she has a herniated disc in L4/5 and yoga and stretching don’t work for her anymore. She is in pain and I feel useless and I can’t help her. Did you have lower back pain or a herniation? How often do you do reverse hypers? As in how many times per week, how many sets, how many reps or how long? I

    Max out on a different variation every week beating your previous best by 5lbs. Then assistance work. Other day you do 9*3(bench) or 12*2(squat) with 75-85%. After you will do assistance work.

  • @user-gj6yb2qc7e
    @user-gj6yb2qc7e 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    you should absolutely be able to add 100 lb to your max when you 1)get everything you need nutritionally, 2) have great equipment and do not have to work, 3)take enormous amounts of peds. 100 pounds is an insult if you have all of that at your disposal.

    • @RonniiV
      @RonniiV 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      this people have to manage their nutrition so they’re not getting optimal macros and micros. If they are, it’s from discipline which is possible for anyone to do if they’re dedicated enough. Most of them work, the money is not good enough in this sport to not work. Some of them have to drive hours after work to just train. As per the peds, well okay haha they take peds
