Had a short BFS fishing session just to try out how is it like recording with my new Insta360 X3 camera. It is definitely a new experience and a very refreshing experience not having to think about framing during fishing. boleh bang. paling rendah saya baling 2.7g micro crankbait gunakan rod tsurinoya dragon 2. tapi magnetic brakenye tidak stabil... ada setting terlalu kuat ada setting ok... saya kalau baling lure keberatan 10-40g gunakan brake setting 3 atau 2.5... reelnya memang lawa dan padu dan bagus kerana harga yang murah

Sharky 3 yes, very satisfied. RL 3, not really. It is mainly due to the drag clicker. Vibrates too much and sounds plasticky.
@@fishingsingapore Oh really ? I was going to order a RL3 with a purelure rod. I red that the Sharky had a 5-30gr range for lure weights, do you agree with that ?
5g definitely is ok, with the correct rod. I went down to 3g with a UL rod. I haven't gone up to 30g before so can't comment on that.

How far you can throw the 7g lure in sharky amd
Probably 40m or so for a 7g spoon. A lot depends on the shape of lure and set up. I have to saw that it cast really well with little backlash if you tuned it in.
For your own experience what is the best set up for that reel, 3 more days my sharky AMD is going to delivered to me
I usually fish light. Thus a 1.98m to 2.28m L, ML rod with 10-15lb braid is good for me. You can try to play around with different combos. Have fun!

Ive just rcv my brand new rl3 reel from shopee, the reel is good, even though the tention knob was loosen enough to let the spool free, while the brakes are sets to 0, its still capable to cast hard without backlash, and the most amazing is, the distance ive got around 40m ++ with 7gm soft frog, however.. I dont know if the reel has been manufactured like that or there was a defect, the cranking was a bit tight and got some jerking when crank it. Im not doing the pre-service at the first place before first time using the reel, anyone experience this?

Hi ,love your channel. I have recently purchased this reel. Whilst it is smooth and very nice in many ways it has a couple of major flaws . The main thing being it is way overbraked. It can be cast on zero brake setting and only one or 2 clicks it becomes too strong. The drag clicker is terrible, makes the reel shudder and is rough and very plastic sounding. The biggest problem is the brakes though The magnetic ring is way too strong I am going to get some self adhesive foil or copper tape and see if covering half the magnet helps. It's a shame because otherwise a nice reel that has potential. Cheers 👍
agreed i usually set the brakes at 3 and it feels like my tatula at 14

This AMD SHARKY 3 compared to the ROYALE LEGEND 3, which one should you buy bro?
I feel that Sharky 3 is more refined and well made. But the spool is heavier than RL3. So it depends on your application.
So is there any difference between the brake systems of the two machines?
@@autobot5251 Yes, Sharky III version 2 has the AutoMag dual system. Static magnetic brakes use the same power during a cast while this dynamic system creates a magnetic field which varies during the cast. Hope my description is comprehensible.

It is available in Asia now but I am not sure when it will be available in the US. The 2021 model that is just released in US is already 2 years old. So maybe you will get this in 2024/2025?

It is not bad. Can cast down to about 5g. Most comfortable with 7g and above. I would compare it to being a Kastking version of Daiwa Tatula sv tw 103.

The 3 is really nice. I took it out fishing a few days ago for a casting test and it performed beautifully and can cast down to about 4g. Unfortunately I lost the footage due to SD card error. Will go do another session!

nice catches , i cam to check by how insta 360x3 looks , very goog wide field of view but not as sharp and detailed as gopro i think this is the dilemma of 360 degree cameras you lose some detail. still better low light performance compared to gopro i must add
it is an interesting concept, i like the convenience of framing via the app but the angle for pov is a bit awkard and camera is bulky. another concern is does it have prerecording feature like gopro's hindsight so you dont need to record everything but just the moment of catch
We're planning on doing a duel comparison between the GoPro mounted to the chest and the Insta 360 on a head strap. Or vice versa depending on the mood. We also have a horizontal mounting system for the insta 360 which might be useful instead of it sticking out at an awkward angle.
