If you guys use suction cups it’ll help you out more
Great idea. We didn't have the suction cups. I will definitely use them for the next large window installation. Appreciate your feedback.
You have to install a pan underneath the door before you install the door
Thank you for your feedback. I will be installing a new pan and weather stripping. The door is still in great shape.
Not enough methane coming back to ignite ?
Thanks for your comment! There wasn’t enough methane to ignite, and the house is actually in a pretty new neighborhood. Also, just to clarify, the heat gun doesn’t emit a flame-it only provides warm heat.
@@PivotPropertySolutions The heat gun I use has a coil, like a giant cigarette lighter... a coil of resistive wire to create heat. Perhaps a ceramic version would not cause ignition.
@ I have a Wagner 700 Heat Gun. It is very nice. My heat level was 810 F, just enough heat to loosen the glue, but not melt the PVC and cause fire.
Good deal. I started carrying a spray bottle with water when working, especially in older homes so when im using a torch or heat gun i spay everything down before and afterwards and down in the cavity or when sawing door jambs floors or anything. Just give it a few misty spray gives me a peace of mind.
Awesome pro tip. I will definitely start carrying a spray water bottle for just incase something sparks a flame 🔥.
Woah looks so smooth i almost thought it was water😊
Thank you. It really did turn out amazing. Appreciate you checking it out 👊🏾.

Buy a reem ram bit for 1 1/2 pipe it’ll save you time and money all you need is a drill
@@MasterPlumberUtah Awesome. Ordered ✔️. Thank you so much!
Damn he forgot to apply silicone underneath and all around and around the drainage and perhaps a little bit around those red tennis but if anything goes wrong he has that heat gun to remove any silicone material left behind😅
@@frankgonzalez1631 Actually, I did use silicone around both the gasket and the drain plug. I made sure to apply it around the drain to ensure a proper seal. You can see that in the longer video. Thanks for pointing it out, though! FIY, I’m not a plumber either, but remembered that 😁.
All that just to install the plumbing.. I would've cut behind the drywall where the toilet is a square do all my plumbing connections through the back Plus create access panel from the toilet side just in case for future repairs..😅 and I'm not even a certified butterfly plumber but I do have common sense and I'd like to work smart not get things so complex.😅
1st mistake is doing it yourself. 2 Plumbers don’t use heat guns.
I do hire plumbers and contractors, but I like to learn how things are done myself. Appreciate your comment 😃.
Whoa. I gotta get 1 of those
Welcome to threading shit 101
Guess I'm officially a pro now! Thanks for the intro to the world of threading. 😆
Waste time and cut the pipe
No no no no.. want to see him become a stress ball😅
But he’s got a nice heat gun 😂
That's what I was going to say !!! He uses that heat gun like if it was a drill😅
It is very nice.
This guy is out of his element.
WTF

Thanks so much for the tip! I followed your advice and successfully installed the drain. I used a heat gun to remove the glued PVC and replaced it with new pipes. The new drain and tub are all set up now! I appreciate the help!
If you got a hub saver tool you can use or just go get a 1 and 1/2 coupling next to tee and just new 601 watco drain. Don’t forget gaskets
No U trap ?
I’m using the old trap, that is why it is not dry fitted there. Thanks for noticing that 👊🏾

Would be great if you explained the method properly
@@joebarker3198 Appreciate your comment. I will redo and attempt better explaining . Still working on my public speaking skills.
It’s called catching the thread
Nice. Thank you!
I get the idea, but wouldn't you (1) tape the mirror (2) insert multiple shims on all sides and slowly tap them in? (3) What is catching the mirror when the adhesive gives?
When I started removing the mirror, I didn’t have anything holding it in place. I was careful not to apply too much force, using just a few shims at a time. As I noticed one side starting to loosen, I placed pieces of wood underneath it to keep the mirror from shifting too much. At that point, I focused on removing shims from the top and sides, taking it slow and making sure not to disturb it too much in case it shifted unexpectedly. I wasn’t worried about it falling because the medicine cabinet on the left would catch it for a moment, as the mirror went all the way to the corner of the wall. Definitely was prepared, just in case it it cracked on me before removing it. Tested all of patience 😁.
Я бы сначала молотком по стеклу ёбнул.
That is a gamble. You may get lucky and it doesn't break, but no guarantee.
Right. Totally a gamble. I was prepared and ready to run to Lowe’s for a new mirror 😁.
What happened?
I got the mirror out successfully and reinstalled it back. Super lucky .
I see you have the San tee upside down.
Good catch! I noticed that too and already corrected it before gluing the pipes. Appreciate you!

What are you trying to do? Install a new tub to existing plumbing? If so, mock up the new plumbing to the tub first and then see if you need any adjustments. You may only need to change the bottom or side drain so check first.
I am installing a new tub, and have already mocked up the new plumbing to the tub. I was wondering if I could just refit the existing plumbing on the floor or just reinstall the new one? just I Wish I can share a picture on comments. Anyway, posted a video dry fit the plumbing the new tub.
