Was there a coconut water station anywhere in the resort ?
I am not sure, but they had a stand on the beach with fresh coconuts :)
Are there umbrellas at the beach or shade
There are umbrellas and tents made from the palm leaves, and when we visited, there were plenty of them available. Not sure how it looks in busier time.

how far from the airport and is it in Las Bruges area of Santa Maria ?
The airport is in Santa Clara which is 1,5 hrs away.
Was here a year ago. Honestly was impressed with everything, best beach I’ve seen after seven different resorts around Cuba, except for the food. I know by now what to expect in Cuba food wise, but won’t return here for this reason. The buffet was the worst I’ve been to yet.
The food was not too bad for us.
@@art-kat595 I think the food is the biggest variable week by week. Might be unfair to judge it by this alone. The price was excellent, I’ll give it that.
Please I have a question which is so important . is there sny ramp for people with disability to reach the main loby. I saw that you were doing stairs. Another question is the main buffet on the same level of the loby so we have to do stairs again for lunch and dinner.

Hi maryrico7816! We were lucky and didn't get sick from food. There was pork and fish all the time. Only 1 night they had lobster and chicken. But it is Cuba and you never know how their supply will be affected... Overall the food was OK:)
Maybe you can tell me about the bugs there. I’m going in a week, should I bring bug spray or were there any problems with insects on the resort? Were you aware of a shuttle from the airport or did you go by car? Do you remember what you paid?
A year ago there were not too many bugs but we just got back from Cayo Santa Maria and I got so many bites! It was terrible! So I would suggest to bring a bug spray and after bite. Also take some Benadryl/Claritin.
We took a free shuttle that was included in our package

Our group of 12 went in August 2023 based on this video and tripadvisor reviews and were fooled BIG TIME! This hotel is filthy!!! Food was disgusting and trays are always empty. Service is the worse we've ever encountered (and we travel to the Carribean twice a year for the last 10 years so we know what service and quality is). Don't waste your money here.

Hello! Wifi was pretty weak in the rooms. In the lobby it was fine, but not very good for the face time. Also they give you 5 hrs and then you need to go to reception and renew it (for free).

We were lucky in the beginning of September 2022. There were only 2 short rainfalls. We are going at the end of September this year again. But, yes, this season is known for the rainfalls and thunderstorms.

Are the pools open 24 hours? Can you swim at night?
I am not 100% sure, but in the majority of hotels it is not allowed to use pools at night.

Been there 3 times. Always enjoy. Too bad the french manager Jean-Luc Grossin is not there anymore, he was a pearl of a manager.
