Hi there, I am a trans woman from Scotland. I enjoy video games, true crime, plushies and ravioli. Yes, I enjoy Ravioli.
My username used to be Korkrag Steelblood, and while I still go by Korkrag in some spaces, I prefer Layla Spellwind, it suits me better these days.
Feel free to send a message, or some ravioli, I'm happy to make new friends and eat ravioli!
I hope you all have a wonderful day, and may a giraffe hug you in your dreams. ♥
Previous names on youtube: Korkrag, Korkrag Steelblood, Draklorian.
Any pronouns are fine, I don't really mind. Long as I know you're talking to me, is all that matters.
I've had so many hateful people deliberately get them wrong that, like, I just don't care anymore. XD

This might be the most Skyrim thing I've seen since I don't know when. 😂👍
Made my day thank you
I'm glad my random decision to record a shield rolling down a hill made someones day. Genuinely. I hope you find many shields on future days. <3
Schrödinger's shield is neither rolling nor laying flat, tis neither a sphere or a circle but simply: yes.
Bruh i need to go to bed
You and me both, it's almost 5AM here.
physic from bethesda is just something else, imagine how a rope would swing following by that logic
I have trouble processing that in my brain, which, just says how impressive bethesda's attempt at physics is! XD
Maybe that experiment could get us step closer to solve how tilted horse can make you fly and how velocity goes through save/load process. So many questions 😂
This video needs X-Files music
there was a search skeleton option :)
Yeah, probably blew up a skeleton earlier and part of it was rolling away. XD
I saw the length of the hill and was excited. Imagine my sadness when that tree foiled all my anticipation.
I know, I had to go underground and figure out what happened, but it was just gone! D=
Imagine grown adults watching a shield in a game rolling down a hill and being satisfied by it. This is happiness, my man.
that shield is actually a daedra
Now that you mention it, that hill is right next to Meridia's temple. And I had just dropped the beacon off and left. Maybe she's mad at me! O=
😂
Skyrim players after over a decade be like:
What in the god damn?
I like that you react to a shield rolling down a hill in the same way that Benny reacts to someone crawling out of the grave and trecking across Nevada.
I'll be macroing two buttons on my keyboard to automatically hold down left and right click, while I watch some tv. Because this is gonna be a LOOOOOOONG grind!
Nice!
Thanks. ^_^

imgur.com/a/UMQ7YxV Results of leaving it on while watching a movie. XD You want Sammy the Caterpillar, Skull O' Maniac, Torona's Box, Bracer, Stone Mask, Crown and Attraction orb. And ideally set it to just one weapon. Tick all the boxes and choose Arcana XIII(13) Wicked Season. And if you have the gold to spare, get the Disco of Gold as well. Disco of gold heals you for every coin you pick up. Wicked Season makes your luck, growth, greed and curse go absolutely bonkers.

My steam review: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198035826989/recommended/2162800?snr=1_5_9__402 While I hated this game, I gave it a positive review, because I know that while it's not the game for me, it's well made and there will be a lot of people who will enjoy it, that I will recommend it to. At around 9 minutes and 12 seconds in, my brain just stopped processing.
I don’t think it’s a bad game, it helped me sleep well
Wolf control, huh
Yeeeeeup... There's also wolf control, wolf control, wolf control, wolf control or boar control. Good times. Such variety from games these days.
If I had thought to use hover from the start, it would've gone by SO MUCH FASTER.
is there a game similar to this but is ACTUALLY good and worth playing?
Well, the game is copying a diablo style. So I'd say Diablo, Path of Exile, torchlight, V Rising, I'm not a fan of warhammer, but I hear Chaosbane is really good. Titan Quest, Book of Demons, Last Epoch, The Slormancer. Hopefully any one of these are interesting to you. ^_^
Baldur's Gate 3.
Grim Dawn!
Both are great suggestions. ^_^
This game looks depressing.
Yeah, it was pretty dire. It wasn't even like, good depressing where it's sad because the story is gripping and something bad happened to a character... it was just bad.
steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198035826989/recommended/2396240 I absolutely recommend this game! Loving it very muchly!
Oh man this is rough. Back in the day games didn't hold your hand in any way, there's no tutorial, there's simply nothing so if you don't first read the manual you're really mashing buttons with no hope. For spells, you have to pick them and then rest to memorize them, (AD&D rules for PC?...), otherwise the folks in the back cannot reach to attack without throwing a knife or casting a spell. There might be a weapon later on that can reach but I don't recall. You must have a minimum of four characters in the party, you cannot drop one then. The drop character option is for when you have more than four and then yeah, I think you can drop someone at that point, but they might have to be alive though...don't remember. I can't recall ever dropping a character. It was all in the manual, because yeah, that was a thing in 1991. There was no such thing as "rebinding keys". I'm not sure if I even know if that was invented yet when this was released, and if it was, it certainly wasn't common place. The keys were the ones the game developer said you were using and that was that. Anyway even if you were pretty good at this game, you were likely going to eventually die, like, a lot. One tactic to abuse things in this game is to attack, step back, attack, move to the left, they follow, you attack, move right, they follow, rinse and repeat.
"Games didn't hold your hand in any way." That's... not correct. A lot of older games definitely guided you through them. But less obviously than 'click here, click here, now here, we won't let you leave till you click this'. There's very often a way of guiding you through the game, without telling you what to do. Intuitive design. This game was not very intuitive, in fact it was often counterintuitive. It's definitely true that games like Might and Magic as well as Grimrock have made me accustomed to better dungeon crawler designs. But this was released on to steam. they could have done better. I don't know which game had a tutorial first. Earliest I can think of is Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. 1999. But I don't check the release dates of games I have very often. There's definitely games before that one. People complain about hand holding a lot, but don't realise that most games do it. Even Dark Souls, which people like to brag about not doing it, holds your hand at the start. In fact... Dark Souls does it a lot more than most games. If they're asking for money for a 30 year old game, the least they can do is polish it up a bit. But this is just a port. Manuals were definitely important for a lot of older games. Became less important during the PS1 era, but were still included with games until the PS3. At which point a lot of them were just health warnings and how to turn on your console... Rivetting stuff. I'm not sure when the first game had rebinding keys either. I'm definitely sure that some really old final fantasy games have it. But originally only for simple things, not full key rebinds. Regardless, like I said, it's a re-release, they could've easily added something for it. I wonder if I could go into the games files and rebind them manually. But my want to do this is long since gone, since I've uninstalled the game. Indeed, that's a tactic with grimrock as well. Grid based dungeon crawlers become a dancing game at some point. If you want to try a new dungeon crawler, I absolutely recommend Legend of Grimrock. And if you want a really fun experience. Get the second one and the mods by "Adrageron". Fantastic mod creator, put a TON of work into things. Adventures that often go on for longer than the game themselves... A lot harder than the game too.
@@LaylaSpellwind Ah yea, I guess it's true that some games were intuitive, but a lot of them absolutely weren't, and the whole host of these SSI kinda like the AD&D dungeon crawlers were all pretty brutal. And add to that that they are AD&D so if someone's not aware of the rules, or their weird implementation of the rules in computer games - some of the first ever to do that I think, then yeah, without a manual it's just an exercise in futility a bit. I mean you can still do it, but if you're the sort to get frustrated easy, then it's not gonna work. I think worse was like Dungeon Master, where you run out of food and die. Ugh. I played Grimrock, I liked it. I even played the Eye of the Beholder 1 Grimrock mod, I think it was GR or maybe GR 2? That's a pretty cool thing. Anyway yeah, I'm a gamedev who makes DRPGs, like the turn-based sort not the live-action sort. Closest thing I can think of would be Shining in the Darkness on the Genesis. I'll have to check out those mod of Grimrock, sounds like my kind of diversion. Cheers!
@@RecordofRadio True. I just think that being old, or being a specific genre, is no excuse for being bad. If the game costs money, then it'll get every criticism whenever it falls short. These were my issues with the game. Biased? Opinion? Yes, both of those. XD Interesting, I'll have to look out that mod. I have been itching for the excuse to play more grimrock. Adrageron's mods (Lost City, The Guardian's and Final Adventure) are REALLY well made. They even add unique gameplay mechanics for some of them. He really went above and beyond when it came to adding content to the game. Easily over 200 hours gameplay for all 3 combined. Gamedev huh? Feel free to shout out your steam or something. =D
How did you get this game to work? I've tried everything and I just can't play it 😥
Really? It just opened fine for me. If it continues to fail, verify integrity of cache. Or open the EXE file straight from the games folders. ^_^
@@LaylaSpellwind I've already done this and it didn't work. I think I'm going to give up hahaha. Maybe it's a problem with Windows 10, I don't know. I saw in the Steam community that a lot of people have problems with this. Anyway, thank you very much for the answer ☺

@@The8BitPianist It's not, there are unarmed kill cams. There's special kill cams for doing things behind the target, this happens to be one of them.
