I'm convinced this is a brutal and ingenious parody of bands who do meaningless epic drama stuff and expect everyone to take them seriously. The lyrics are intentionally inane and the music just (supposedly) serves to distract us from that reality. I think this is probably one of the dozen or so funniest tunes I've heard, at least as humorous as TMBG's Minimum Wage. So much of Ween's music seems like, You like crap like this? We can do this shtick all day and all night. It's obviously a nice bonus that it's actually well done and fun to listen to.

To everyone wondering about the vocals in this version: the lead singer Gene has a natural ability to modulate his size. So if they are playing a small venue like this then he will be a normal size and with a normal voice. But if they are playing larger venues like canyons and underwater salt mines then he will grow into a larger form and his voice will shift to the low end
